I don't understand why your videos aren't more popular... you presentation is excellent, and you don't sound like like a rabid squirrel on to much caffeine like a lot of 'let's play' youtubers. I think your vids are one of my favorites so far. keep up the good work.

How are you not more popular? Stupid algorithms not recommending your channel until a few days ago, I've watched Syntac and the like for years and you definitely put in A LOT more effort especially with those epic intros. Also you're lucky af, I've been looking for a good rex saddle for like a week
cheers and I was in that cave for longer than a week I must have about 30 odd artifacts in a chest outside that cave. It's a good cave to farm as you can run between the cave loot in there after clearing it out. I had almost given up hope but nobody was watching my vids so I had less pressure to get the next episode out. It took 6 months to complete the island map over the 29 episodes, but yes I was so happy when I got that drop :)
As always, awesome episode. If anybodg else stumbles accross this video, also worth mentioning that this cave is one of the best ways to farm cementing paste with a frog tame. Just be careful of the arthroplueras as the frog gives no protection agains those

Now that cryopods are so easy to get I just use a Megatherium in here. Slaughters everything with the bug killer buff and Arthroplura can't hit you if you keep them in front of your mount.
Do like your vids, watching through the series now after watching sporadic episodes previously. You must have upped the quality of the loot tho but i haven't heard you say that at all. i know the upped breeding speeds and egg laying, etc, but not the loot quality.
loot quality has always been at 5 since the beginning of this playthrough and it took me a year to complete the island almost. 1000s of loot crates I have opened on this map There are no mods and I would suggest better loot as a mod if you're on P.C but no settings have been changed apart for xp is now at x1 as wild card doubled it. The swamp cave is a cave I always camped but nothing was changed in regards to loot quality.
@@CompleteGamesWithJames Hey. thanks for replying. Loot quality of 5 is the maximum so that explains the super high level loot. Mines on 2 atm. Still not sure what the 'single player options' checkbox does but i have it on and have tweaked some of the sliders manually, mainly harvest amounts for me and dinos and resource respawn times as I like to be able to log off occasionally without having to wait for hours for the metal i just mined to respawn so i dont lose it on closing. I been playing the island since about June last year after restarting (due to missing metal nodes everywhere) and i have just the alpha dragon and Overseer left to do. So you know, I think you have done a good job on this series :) It covers most of the most important bits of the game, including breeding and mutations, and your videos are great quality too. I agree with the other comments too. you make Ark seem relaxing lol. Its good as i listen while working from home atm. Keep up the good work and thank you :)
you need to set ur difficulty bar to 1, that means completely to the right, and check the max difficulty setting. that increases the wild dino lvl to 150. but sometimes you just have to search for hours for good levels, im having the same problem atm
I just hold O and it drops the items on p.c and I use T to transfer items quickly and hold E to gather items. I used to set up a macro to gather items as hitting E all day was a pain but now just holding on to the key does the job. This could have been a recent update on P.C which also added the F key to pick up all items in immediate aria option. I expect the patch to role out and on all formats soon if it hasn't yet and should definitely be patched in time for the genesis release.
Merry Christmas and I've not tamed a frog on this playthrough but more than 1 way to skin a cat its hide I need to farm for the rex saddles so was only camping the cave for the loot and artifacts. I'm sure a frog would work really well but using my barry keeps its levels up and has been used for multiple caves. Been very careful about which dinos get to open the explorer notes so if I need to grab any more artifacts The barry can do it.

I personally just farm chitin with the Megatherium and make it in a chem bench. On our server its 4 times resource gathering so stone isn't an issue.
I like the fact that these videos have no dislikes

That’s what I want to know because it feels like I really struggle to find dinos over 100 on my island server

Hey, love the videos! How do you manage to drop items so fast? Are you just that good at hitting O? Macro? Just video editing? Keep it up!
I just hold O and it drops the items on p.c and I use T to transfer items quickly and hold E to gather items. and I may have edited something I try to cut down to less than 30mins and my timeline on videos can get a bit crazy just to keep things moving.

Dodos if you’re starting out or passive tame a moschops and kill lystros and parasaurs
