Thanks for this video. Was just what I needed with a gig coming up rapidly and me really liking the mixer but then having no idea ( after working on Pioneers before only ) how to use it :)
You’ll literally never want to use another mixer after being used to an Allen & Heath like this, but I cannot get over how bad this guy is at explaining and demonstrating what and how you can play. Maybe Audio Technica are anti Allen & Heath or something. The main difference from the 92 is that this has an audio interface. The 4 band eq, filters are lovely to play with, the send and returns are great if you want to use and external effects. When he changed from the vinyl to traktor, he’s changing from line to phono. I dunno why he had them on the same channel, as obviously it would have made sense to show how you could mix records and traktor with the turneys on a phone channel 2, traktor on channel 3. The guy showed fuck all, didn’t demonstrate the power of those world famous filters competently, didn’t explain or show the eq, seemed more excited about the effects pedal. I get being anxious on camera, but he didn’t do this mixer or the company of Allen and Heath any favours here. He’s either really anxious, or not a long time Dj. Sorry to be harsh but that was a shit demonstration. Crossfader you should do an actual demo and review of this and compare / explain the differences and addition to the 92.
