Suggestion: (take it or leave it.) If you are going to make reference to God, I'd suggest using a major key rather than a minor one because minor keys are not as uplifting tones as major key tones. You could start out in a minor key and transition into a major key to express the upliftment one feels by connecting with Source/God.
I would say people say "for the love of god" when something is deeply wrong. It's not meant to be majestic and uplifting. There's meant to be some angst and dark emotion in it!
I have to respectfully disagree @Esnorel I understand your point, but I sense a real contemplative, reflective vibe in this one, similar to in thoughtful prayer or meditation. It takes me into a mind shift that’s deep and emotional, where I feel major notes would jar that feeling. Some of Carlos Santana’s music has that effect on me and has brought me through some major events in my life. I wouldn’t mess with perfection on this one. I’d love to be able to play guitar this well. This is just my opinion. It would be nice to hear other Dovy followers’ views on this too.

I love listening to great guitarists when they become totally immersed in their performances and take their audience on that journey.
