thank you so much for this moment. The amount of hard work, time and dedication you must have put into learning, performing, recording and editing this beautiful performance is undeniably heart warming. I would hate to be that guy, but here I go.... Would you mind telling us the electric guitar effect pedal chains. you nailed the tones so well!!! Thank you again, I wish you only the best in anything you do further!!
Thank you so much for those words! No problem! For Ed’s part i used a Mesa boogie style clean amp, a compressor, a whammy with a up 1 octave, a bit of chorus and a reverb with shimmer. The drive sounds are just the clean amp with fractals model of an hot cake drive pedal. For Johnny’s part I used an ac30 style amp, a compressor, tape delay, a small stone emulation and reverb on the “clean” parts. The drive sounds are just a Shredmaster emulation with the Ac30. For the kill switch effect I used a hard square wave tremolo to get that super choppy effect. As for the filter part at the end, I used an high pass filter. I made the settings of that effect block to act like a very spikey auto wah. That in conjunction with the sherdmaster gets in the ballpark of what you hear on the record ( not totally happy with that part, but I just couldn’t find anything better on the fractal, on the album he used an rack effect for that).
Sorry, but no. I did it by hear and by watching several videos of the band playing the song. There’s one with just Thom playing an acoustic solo version that’s really good to catch how he plays this.
Tks! I’m actually using a Fractal Fm3. But I have described the process and effects in another response I gave in the comment section. I’m basically replicating their real life pedalboards.
I really had no clue why people kept talking about the sweater 😅 I did a google search and he did use one (looks really the same! I doubt H&M existed back then 😄) really similar to this one on the early days of Radiohead so it seems. It was a fun coincidence!
Wearing the Thom Beach House sweater I see lol
finally some ed recognition
He’s great! Radiohead wouldn’t sound the same without him.

Nice. I was lloking for inspiration to learn this on guitar, but I am still not sure it can be done by one solo artist :D
Tks! Yeah, it sounds better with at least two guitars. But you should try making a version with one guitar, could be a fun project.
Well played! What software did you use to edit the video?
It was iMovie on Mac, Tks for watching!
Do you have tabs, trying to seize as many tabs because I have to perform this
