Rafa practically did lol. Roger didn’t have a shot after the lob so he went tweener
wrong surface to have a slice battle, on clay the ball jump higher and slows down, they could have a 200 shot rally until one of them made mistake.
On grass however it is completely different, good slices are super dangerous on grass because the ball jumps low and sideways, players in the past have won multiple wimbledon titles just from a combination of a perfect slide with quick approach to the net (like Martina Navratilova, she was all about slices and net play in wimbledon)

only two guys I ever watched. watched a bit of Stan and bits of other matches here and there but these two on the court were the best duo ever. you just had to watch.
That was weirdly satisfying.
This video helped me realise that I should go back to playing tennis with friends. It’s such a fun sport, only takes two players, and it’s only as competitive as you want it to be.
Must have been thrilling to watch them in this exhibition ❤

There will never be two like them again. Once Rafa retires too, it will be a sad day for this sport. Their records may get broker by another, but these two will forever remain the legends and favourites.

The GOATs in just the MOST entertaining matchup EVER. If only they had less injuries and even longer peaks. Djoko may have the numbers now but he has had little competition for 4 or 5 years bar at the French. If Roger or Rafa hadnt had to share so many titles one of them would be probably mid 30s maybe even 40 grandslams. These two guys single handedly took Tennis to all new heights and technical levels!!
Djokovic is 27-23 against Federer and 30-29 against Nadal, has more Grand slams, masters 1000 than anybody else in History, he also has 389 weeks at number 1, Roger has 310 and Nadal 209, litteraly you cant find a single metric to prove that he isnt the goat and im a Nadal fan so i cant be more objective
