How do dark scenes look in a dark room ?, is there any blooming, saw a review saying it might have a problem with non solid blacks or looking abit washed
its a $1199 tv, compared to a $3k oled i bet is washed. However, I don't complain about the quality, for me it looks amazing, especially for $1200. The only problem i have with this tv is the light leaks in the bottom right corner, however, the light leak is not as bad as other tv in the same price range......
Hello, I have a question. I live in UK and this TV comes with BBC iPlayer and itvx preinstalled and these apps cannot be deleted. I dont use these apps to watch anything, do i still need to buy a TV license?

The problem with my Samsung TV and my old one was the banding of the backlight, noticeable on a solid colour screen like grey. Looking at this video it seems like it has uneven backlighting too but in circles - probably because of the local dimming
Hello, thanks for the overview, i bought a 85 inch Q80C series in france which has 220-240v 50-60 hz mentioned on the backpanel, i am supposed to move to US (110v), anyidea if the french TV will work without a voltage converter in US, my previous LG TV had 100-240v written on it, but the samsung doesnt, thanks
Enjoying your video. I just got the 75" q80c today. At 75 its interesting get it put together. But also impossible to lift this from the foam base. Where our hand goes is too deep for a normal person to get in and get a grip. Im javing to gut the gap more to reach, then its still some 45 pounds each person to lift the 84 pound tv. Whew. The onstructions show putting the stand on the tv while still in the foam stand. Every video shows put the tv flat snd thats what I should have done. Now i have that 11 pound or more stand on it still in the box. Im worn out. Still enjoying your video, thanks.
I have an LG 43LF5100 43” from 2015 that I’ve had since I was in high school and living with my parents that’s currently in my living room. Will the upgrade between that one and a 65” Q80C be as drastic as I’m hoping?

Adjust your "Judder Reduction" settings. I believe the default is 10. You can lower it to your liking. Usually 3 or below will take away the "Soap Opera" look.
I bought this tv and it has been so frustrating to try and get a good picture. People look washed out of sunburnt. I took it back and they refused to take it as their diagnosis couldn't find a fault. I just want a tv that makes humans look human!
Hello Dan, also do this Samsung TV play HDR, HDR10 or HDR10+ video via USB (external HDD or SSD) ?
Does the stand swivel left to right?
What about backlight bleeding issuse?
So pleased you made this Vlog Dan I just ordered this very model and I think I should be able to set it up with this to refer too 💫
Hope you enjoy it!
How's of angle viewing of around 25 degrees?
Any idea of the size of the storage for apps? My current Samsung no longer updates due to bloatware and apps I'm not allowed to delete.
How works the local dimming? The black are good or not? Thanks
How did you get pip to work. It is off / Grey on my TV and cant turn it on and i dont know why ????

How do you put regular TV to hdr tv
Apple TV
Hi, is this tv better than Sony bravia 55X85L ? I want only for gaming mostly on ps5
Yes it is better it is very comparable to the Sony x90L I even prefer it to the x90L for its brightness and vibrancy
Can You give me settings for Q80C for Europe VA Panel ??

How do I completely turn off and not just standby?
It's a low power standby uses around 0.5w so I wouldn't worry about energy consumption, also it can also update itself overnight

how does AI upscalling work? I watched a low quality TH-cam video, but it did not do upscalling. can you explain?
I want to connect to an old RCA receiver through and HDMI to /RCA. Does it matter which HDMI port I use?
Would you say theres much difference between this tv and the q90c??
It's alot thicker, picture wise the backlight is better and brighter on the qn90c and sound is better on the q80c due to its physical thickness
@@TellyDan ok thanks! Do you reckon i should get the q80c or the hissense 55U7KQTUK im torn between these two now
You need to test a 4K film in a dedicated 4K player.
GigaLAN port ?

Much less noticeable if the have a VA panel

Нет, не будет он работать в США. Кроме того стоимость перевоза из Франции будет выше стоимости нового ТВ.
55 inch does have ips or va panel?
The VA panel looks soo much better on the Q80
Is this tv any good
Yeah it looks cool man.
Very good hits well above its league. Can easily hang with the high end tv’s
