@JelproXy I'd disagree. Although most MMOs (atleast the good ones) are indeed locked behind a subscription plan or an outright purchase to play said game. The free to play aspect in an MMO has not really been explored thoroughly, since most good mmos began back in the 90's/2000's and the common method to obtain money through a game, during those times, was an outright purchase. After all, triple a f2p games were not really much developed until the 2010s. So, in theory and with consideration of riot games monetization ideals (f2p for all its massive games) it would be more likely that an f2p structured MMO would be developed by them. And especially if they have good retention to feedback. They probably would develop the MMO in a way its not pay to win and also not pay to play.
if riot is legit starting to listen to the community and are really putting effort now, i think the mmo might be done in the next 5 years instead of 15

Honestly the last month of arena i just played every round with the random button (i also still believe that this button isn´t actually random) But it made so much fun playing different champs and having sometimes really cool opportunities and also very dumb ones. It is nearly impossible to get first place with that but there were many second and third places also sometimes some really fast eight places cause sometimes there is literally nothing you can do anymore but it was the thing that made me play arena more again. So randomizing the champs with giving everyone one or two champ rerolls, would be an amazing thing.
Ok, I have a notion which I can't word out the way I want but I'll try... So I think riot can gain so much from integrating charity into their skins pipeline. So one a year they take all the "good" ideas they decided not pursue due to low monetization potential and make a community poll on which one they want to see being made and make it into charity. That way, they replace low revenue "property" with high social credit one since it gives the community skins they want they wouldn't usually get and also the obvious charity. Plus it might let the design team work on passion projects they normally wouldn't. Sorry if this is somewhat incoherent but I wanted to get it out there before I forget or lose motivation.
My only issue with Swarm was by the time we got the Anima Power special effect we'd already grinded the game mode to completion that I just didn't want to play it anymore, or had no objectives to work towards anymore. Could've done with adding some Weekly missions to it, like TFT.
i agree with the randomized Arena thing as me and my friend have been doing that for a month now. Sure sometimes you get stuff like Ivern Karma but lother times you get stuff that surprises you with a first if you stick to it, the only rule we had were 3 reroll and we cannot go back to a previous pick that we rolled past.

Does mean that legit, new players would not be able to enjoy it- but that's one small give for a large take.
Swarm was as hyped and fun and the first time urf was released. No other game mode managed to do this. The gragas skin reminds me of the pajama guardian urgot, where they essentially gave us what we wanted, without harming their skinline lore.
I hope they don't set back ranks. I haven't unlocked ranked yet, but from my experience with Apex, it doesn't work. Resetting ranks so often results in people not getting to the rank they can. Not everyone plays 10 games a day. Me and my friends can get to diamond, maybe even master, but the season ends before we even get through platinum. The first half of a split, you can tell that bronze, silver and gold lobbies are filled with plat diamond and even master players. It must be unplayable for people that actually belong in those ranks. We often say "Those people were lost" as if everyone in gold must be a diamomd player moving through. That may have just been actual gold players. There's also master players that skip 2 seasons, and then end up in bronze... I get that you might be rusty, but you're not suddenly bronze.

Honestly, instead of just adding more and more champions which only bring more (probably extremely broken) mechanics to a game thats already being held together by decade old gum and pasta, Riot should instead focus on modernising old champions instead of having a roster of 40-50 champions they give attention to while over 100 are just rotting away. Like Riot took away Iverns unique buff sharing and didnt give him anything in return.
