Indians are so desperate to find Europe in India. The best parts of most European cities have far more color and design. And the infrastructure is better than this.
This area would at best compare with parts of Europe that are less interesting and have not been too well maintained. Much of the architecture here is actually quite repetitive and boring. And several buildings are already showing signs of age.
By Indian standards, it's not bad. But only those who have never been to Europe would rave about it, or call it Europe. Second rate Europe, perhaps. But nothing like the best of what Europe has to offer.
Those who have been to Stare Mesto in Central Prague, or the incredibly well preserved medieval towns in Bavaria, or the Alsace region will know what I mean. They're so much prettier. Nothing here matches the charming and romantic feel of such European cities and towns.

Better to be inspired by the most interesting aspects of traditional Indian design than reproduce poor copies of the most bland and difficult to maintain European trends.
