I had a demo of this game in the mid 90s when I was a little kid. The graphics were incredible so I wondered why I never heard anything about it. I remember having to beat a dude with a severed leg or something.
bioforge got some hype in our neck of the woods, but it was quickly buried by all the other stuff from 1995. it didn't help that it wasn't that obvious what to do and the controls being what they were I guess, but it did get some magazine and such hype too(being origin). there was just so many new games coming out back then that were like.. "new" that this felt like alone in the dark and couldn't get into it at the time. same reason why I didn't get into resident evil too I guess.
I legit picked this up from gog, after you featured it in your sound card reviews, and have it installed on my retro pc. Now I just need to get around to actually playing some games, instead of constantly tweaking the setup.
cool that you have the box. This game was always a favorite of mine, even though I only played the first room from the demo back in 1995. I might have the demo on a PC Gamer disc somewhere?
I bought this game when it was released. The box art grabbed me. Though I got stuck in the game and never finished it. I can't find the disk now, so I think I will get it again on GOG.
I remember I had this when I was around 14 and just couldn't get into it because of the terrible combat controls. I did like the graphics and atmosphere a lot though.
I played through this at the time. I still find myself saying "EEEnteresting, Doctor Mastaba" and I'm just like... why do I still say this one random line from a 1995 pc game that no one remembers
This games atmosphere is so damn good.
It actually manages to creep me out.
This is a gem of a game and i love it so much.
Man i loved this game.

Damn, I played this as a kid in the mid 90's!
Please explain your accent to me 😉
Well, want to ask anything in particular? :)

I still remember the into of that game like it was yesterday, the athmosphere of the first act blew me away at the time.

sometimes I'll look at something on the ground and say 'a severed arm' in my head.
Interesting game
When was the last time you've watched a Chinese movie? Chinese cinema is better than Hollywood these days.
Actually no, Chinese films are shit as they always were. I've watched some Chinese films quite recently and all of them were horrible.
@@KITR-UK Clearly a "you" problem.
Great game! I bought this when first released, along with the guide book - both of which I still have somewhere.
