The absolute size of the arrow bolts alone are insane. The power behind it is just complete overkill. It's look like I could shoot through an entire moose and have it go into another moose effectively. It gives me the strangest boner

Well, a friend of mine's that went to China to look at their Manufacturing options. He told me for what he saw they are capable of producing extremely quality products that could compete with other manufacturers around the world. I am interested in the quality and price point of their PCP that China will put out in the future. Competition has a way of making other manufacturers price point competitive.
Seems to me as an example, that the only real reason we have to pay up to 3x more for an fx product is simple that the workers of Sweden demand a salary 3x higher than the workers at china, I see no other logical explanation.
AEA is stepping up their game I bought the HP max a couple years ago in 9mm a year after they came out with a 45 and 50 caliber geezus I should of waited lol.

The .72 caliber is absolutely the best air rifle for serious big bore air gunners. To put it in perspective. Your talking about an air rifle that can produce the same amount of fpe as a desert eagle. 50 action express. That's truly incredible.
I certainly don't want to not the tumor x gauntlet or the Gamo swarm and all the other cheap rifles that have hit the market.... They certainly have their place and they're getting people into the sport that weren't a part of it before. But this video here is what I'm talking about. This is the kind of airgun advancement that just tickles my fancy to no end. I have commented before that using air guns to hunt big game didn't make much sense to me. I would definitely use a powder burner.... But the more I think about it it's nice to have an option. And you're still just using air so you don't have to worry about reloading. Being a magnum rifleshooter myself I can tell you the cost of ammo is pretty high..... Reloading still cost money and it takes time. And you also have to worry about a little thing called throat erosion.... Which is prevalent in all the big magnums. I'm really looking forward to someone doing reviews on these rifles. I'm dying to see the ballistic coefficient. 1000 joules is really impressive....but the bullet drop in a 72 caliber is going to be significant. I'm trying to do math in my head of what I think the gun is capable of....but I really need solid numbers to do the math. Without knowing the grain of the slug... I am guesstimating 100 to 150 yards. And as Batman would say to Robin... If my calculations are correct that is one hell of an air rifle
John...my thoughts exactly. Firearms carry big issues...especially with state and federal law. Airguns have MANY advantages most gun enthusiasts overlook. One...they are 'clean'(no smoke...no flash...no odor). Two...they are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than firearms...and purchasing a suppressor(many options online)...does not require the tax stamp...the 9 month wait...or the BATFE red tape. Third...they are(except for New Jersey...and New York) NOT regulated. Yes...even here in Connecticut(worst state for taxes...and VERY bad for gun owners)you CAN be arrested for having a 'dangerous weapon'...if you had one in your car sitting on your seat...and not in your trunk secured...but...the circumstances have to be there to warrant an arrest. Airguns are the future. The Umarex Hammer(.50 caliber pcp/700+ ft lbs of energy with a 550 grain slug) should be available soon on PyramydAir...which is where I bought both my Evanix Rainstorm 3D Bullpup(9 mm lever action repeater/7 round magazine)...and my Hatsan Sortie Semi-Auto Pistol(.25 caliber/10 shot magazine...uses air to cycle the bolt!!). After seeing these weapons...I was drooling...I PRAY THESE BECOME AVAILABLE A.S.A.P.!
