Life post-grad is so hard on our mental health! I was miserable wile job hunting and now that I got a great job in my field I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. But at the same time, I know that those months off were important to relax a little and don't get burned out. We have to be kinder to ourselves, things always workout at the end.
I'm a 2022 graduate too! My friends mostly went to work with a 9-5 job and I chose WFH. And what helps me survive WFH is making sure that I go out during the weekends, most esp. Saturdays. Either going out with friends, with the boyfriend, or with myself. I consider it as a reward/time for me to breathe and see the outside world.
I am a new post grad and haven’t 100 percent figured things out. I have been applying to marketing jobs because I would like to be using my degree. Haven’t had any luck with getting a job yet, it’s a lot harder than one would think since you are competing with a lot of other people(who have more experience than you being a new grad). I’m going to have to start working retail locally by July just to have a job because I really would love to stay in my current apartment so I need rent money. The crazy thing is that I was on the grad school track for awhile, applied and interviewed for many GA positions in marketing at my university and again didn’t get any. So stressful and frustrating because I could have done any of the jobs if I was given a chance. Now without a GA position I can’t go to grad school because it’s so expensive and it’s not smart to go into debt for it.
Awe, I’m a 2022 grad too! I graduated with my associates though but it can be lonely. My program was all online but I still managed to make one good friend but our lives are so busy, we haven’t talked since graduation pretty much. It’s tough to transition into a new season of your life but it can be exciting too!
Hi Hannah good morning happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and congrats on your graduation
College "friends" are situational friends which will stop post grad. People move on with their lives and it will be only you maturing into a different way of life. it's called adulthood.
