When you have it in silhouette studio, select each item in a color then right click on it and make it a compound path. Then when you bring it into Cricut it will be grouped by color.

Hi. I need help.I did her nose but it is the out part. How to I erase it ? And do the in side of her nose. When I click on the inside of her nose. It colors her out side of her nose.
the undo button is the best invention. I would make sure to click the nose and be sure the path has released. so right click and release compound path. You can also skip to the subtract section adn get rid of that part before you fill the inside
This helps alot but I have a question as I'm following along. I'm doing it with ursula's face and when I thought I was done her lips were not red. I kept to back track to see why her lips won't turn red but when I did the release compound there were no little Grey boxes on her lips. Please help me

Great video! I am followed your video, but after I save as SVG and try to open in Cricut Design Space, I keep getting an error that my file contains items that Cricut does not support??? There is nothing in the file except the pieces of the image. I am converting a Minnie from PNG to SVG?
Design space has been having issues uploading SVGs from everywhere. My best guess is that it’s a design space problem. I couldn’t load an SVG I’ve loaded before today
Can you go to the video where it says 8 minutes and 15 seconds. You click on her eyebrows you click up there by her forehead and get the box. I get the box to come up but then the two boxes around her eyebrows is gone what am I doing wrong????
You can do this but you cannot move it over to the cricut software. I recommend getting the free version and playing with the silhouette software and if you like it then buy the business edition

You do realize that the red line you deleted was the background, you just had to add black color to it, so you didn't need to do the first trace you did.

You need a quality image if your image isn’t great to start it will be bumpy

So I don't think it will work. because Silhouette does print larger but I don't think you will be able to get it sized exactly right.

The software is cheaper from swing design. It’s exactly the same software

Her lips may not be a solid part? Without seeing it I can’t be sure

You can not use this on an ipad. and I do believe it is only for one computer but I will check

You need to hold ctrl on the keyboard

You can if you are cutting it with a silhouette cutter. You will need business if you want to save as an SVG.

There are other videos which show how to fix your svg in silhouette so it does not come in with all those layers when you import into design space

@tiffany you will select all the items of the same color and then click on it and choose make a compound path :) its easy I just figured it out

Yes you absolutely can! However to be able to use it with your cricut software you need business edition but it’s only a one time fee of $50

I am switching from cricut to silhouette and I am so scared looks complicated but I ve now had 2 faulty cricuts

Look for a coupon. I use the honey extension and it almost always has a coupon. I paid like $52 with tax
