Thank you so much for doing this Mal! I have a silhouette and almost every creator has a cricut, and I never know what is the equivalent terms in silhouette studio. Thanks for explaining. I have been trying for months to figure out what is the "slice" equivalent in silhouette studio. I will send you a message if I come across somethinh else I cant find. Thanks for all your tutorials!!
How do you make an outline of a single object, for instance a heart? I just followed your directions here and the heart was too big to outline the one I'm working with. Thank you 🙂
Thank you for this breakdown, could you share how to download silhouette studio onto your computer? Do you only use silhouette studio when creating the design?
I purchased it from Swing Design and just downloaded and installed. www.swingdesign.com/products/silhouette-cameo-license-code-for-studio-business-edition I use it for cutting too because I have a cameo. But if you have a cricut you can design in silhouette, export, and then import it into design space to cut on your Cricut.
I know this is an old vid but can someone tell me how i can make an offset identical to the image i am offsetting? Meaning no dull curves when the original is sharp no wonky lines when the original is a specific shape i want exactly the same image but exactly 1.5cm space between the offset. Is this possible? Ive scaled, ive traced i have done it all and its not the exact same.

@@madebymal_studio thank you for explaining!
In Cricut to get rid of those little lines you go to contour and select the cut you want to get rid of.
Thanks
