      @Leo Rhamazov fake? Xu Xiaodong has literally gone through extreme hardships in his home country just to show the people of China, that there are too many traditional martial artists there who are just taking advantage of people by not showing them practical defense systems and making them think their teacher is over powered when he's actually a weakling. Xu Xiaodong is a hero.

      BJJ, karate, Kick boxing, and every other martial art have moves that are only used in life or death circumstances. Biting, eye gouging, throat punches, small joint locks, head stomping, neck breaking etc.... how does he know his system works unless he does full contact fighting minus the deadly moves? He can brag all he wants when he's got a few wins under his belt, not when he spars against unresisting partners.

      @LostBeyond 11 Yeah, Xu Xiaodong has had a really rough time from the CCP for exposing con men in traditional Chinese martial arts. The CCP considers this stuff "cultural vestiges", but the reality is they would prefer citizens learn BS combat systems so they don't need to worry about challenges to their authority.
      Xu was scheduled to fight DK Yoo, but the CCP wouldn't give him a passport due to their horrific social credit system. That's when Brad Scott picked up the match and DK Yoo's ridiculous display and post fight excuses are now history.

      Nope totally fair, its the streets, no referees, no tap outs, no rules.
      Even MMA fighters struggle against marines. If u go against someone who is trained to kill, u lose.
      And lets face it, u only train that in the most extreme armies.
      Modern martial arts including TMA and MMA does not teach u to kill.
      And anyway, most ppl are decent human beings and are not wired to kill or extremely harm ppl in a fight.
      Usually extreme injuries in street fights occurs in anger where there is no more self control.

    1:44 you see 4 fully grown men, around 280kg in total, trying to push DK and he doesn't budge but in DKs latest fight against Bradley, Dks gets pushed and flung around like a doll.
    This doesn't add up to what is being presented at the given timeframe.

    • @sebfox2194
      @sebfox2194 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way they are standing doesn't transfer the full force of all 4 people. Firstly, the 1st guy is standing in a solid resistance stance, that is good for resisting pushing when standing still, but not so good for producing a forward pushing force to move someone else. So, his pushing force isn't maximised. Moreover, his stance also provides some resistance to the 2nd guys pushing force, so that not all the 2nd guy's force is transferred to DK. The same thing is happening all the way along the chain for the 3rd and 4th guys, such that by the time you get to the 4th guy, not that much of his pushing force is actually getting transferred to act on DK. The total force is maybe just over 2 people's pushing force. So, it's still impressive, but the set-up deceptively makes it look like he is taking the full force of all 4 people.
      Set up 4 strong guys in a diamond rugby scrum formation to push with their full force, and you can pretty much guarantee that DK won't be able to hold them in that position. Moreover, a low, straight legged rugby scrum resistance position is even better than DKs stance for resisting a forward pushing force. The drawback of that rugby position is that it isn't balanced if the pushing force is suddenly removed, and the person resisting in that position would then fall forwards. However, if you just want to maximise the reaction force in 1 direction, then the rugby scrum position is superior.

      Why? Would it make you feel better about yourself if you took one person ( who is not training MMA fighters by the way) and put them into a arena that they have never professed to be good at/in? Why? Are MMAs the end all of human hand to hand combat? Not at all. It’s two people who have trained themselves to be the best in that arena. Should football coaches who never played in the NFL stop teaching at the local High School? The best fighters and teachers always seek out different, more effective, methods to get the job done. Not one top ranked MMA fighter stepped into the ring a second time without training with people who could teach them to be more proficient at previously unskilled areas in their fighting. Did they seek out only the best fighters of that time or coaches who could help them become the best fighter?
      Train yourself and enjoy the journey not others wins or loses.

      My other argument would be if the majority of these fighters are indeed under the influence of drugs then it is most likely that this so called "master martial artist" teaching people his 'FLASHY' moves would likely run into someone who are under steroids than those who are not, implying that his 'FLASHY' techniques must be effective to be atleast take the majority of these fighters down, which I highly doubt.

      A casual altercation? My friend you have obviously never been in a real fight. Their is nothing casual about it. You are immediately thrown into a fast, violent struggle for survival. Yes, you can die from a street fight, it happens far more than you might think. In that moment you have a split second to react. Now the question becomes, do I rely on a battle tested technique or one that seems good in theory, but has never been tested. It’s like asking, would you like to defend yourself with this gun, or would you like to try this brand new weapon that no one has really tried before and it might not work. But, it looks cool!!

    In his demos where his assistants are trying to push him over, they do not have their arms extended. If they really wanted to transfer their weight into pushing him over, their arms would be fully extended. I call BS.

    • @ericnickols9471
      @ericnickols9471 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      With your arms extended, force is lost back out the shoulders. If you bend your elbows and point them downward, you can get more power from your feet. That's why you can put more force into a punching bag with a body hook versus a longer right cross. Both have their uses, but the cross lacks biomechanical advantage. If they just pushed him with a few ounces right or left instead of directly into him, he would have lost his balance, but they're just helping him show off his root in one direction; yeah kind of a stupid thing to show off.

    • @flashingsword
      @flashingsword 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ericnickols9471 Remember that they are trying to chain together force from one person to the next, and they each have someone else's hands behind their back, in effect bracing their shoulders. For that kind of static force transfer, arms fully extended would be far better IMO.

    • @ericnickols9471
      @ericnickols9471 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@flashingsword I see what you're trying to say about them being in a line and adding power to each other, but this isn't a matter of power but of directional leverage. Extended arm power, can't get under a person with ground path. The first person pushing will get lifted. Their total power is inconsequential, because more power will just lift them faster. That's why they all fall around him from the closest to the next closest. It is a simple trick of biomechanics that you learn in the first few lessons of any neijia quan.
