If I have tons of spinach I freeze it in meal portion sizes in sandwich bags. Then when I want to use it in the winter it's easy to crunch up and crumble into curries, spaghetti etc 😊

You might need to clean up some programs, or uninstall any programs using up a lot of memory. However, if you do need a RAM upgrade, you might need to just buy a new laptop altogether, because many new laptops these days (especially when it come to apple products) they solder the RAM onto the motherboard; so replacing RAM isn't like how it use to be. Anyways, If you do need to buy a new laptop, I would go for 16GB or more. I'm not sure how long you've had your Mac for, but if it's been more than 5 (or even 6) years, it's probably not a bad idea.
