Our San Felipe 250 race didn't go as planned but thanks to our amazing hard working race team, we made it to the finish line and snagged a respectable result with all things considered. Yes, please add more content on your future vids i.e., cockpit views, shop footage and without revealing competitive secrets; would like to know more about your chassis, motor, driveline, suspension, tires etc.

I grew up in Needles Ca and off-road racing, hunting and fishing was 100% of why I worked so hard in school so my Dad would take me for these activities. We used to get up at 3am to go to the Parker 400. I was so excited as a kid to get the Dusty Times, the race program. I memorized every racer as a kid in the 80s. But the coolest part was recognizing engine sounds of Ivan, Robby, Walker, Scoop, Dave, the buggies that were coming through Thunder Alley. You could identify a driver by his throttle and engine noises as to how har they were pushing and who it was. I always loved seeing the McMillans coming through, Corky, Mark. It’s so awesome seeing how the legends live on! Love you Andy. We’re all dirt family! Don’t let the cousins kick your ass🤣

I’d be interested in a video of a breakdown of the truck and maybe what kind of spare parts you carry and where you’re able to fit them all
How many transmissions do you try / test before settling on a certain setup/combination ie , xtrac, Albins , Fortin , Masomatic ? Or do you just go with what is known to work ?? How much info do other TT teams share in regards to transmissions etc ..

The videos are great. Only thing about the race day is you need to contact the established media guys, Tuba, Bobby 239, ect.. for higher quality trackside footage. Phone videos just aren't enough. Good stuff though, good to see your channel up!🤙

@@AndyMcMillinTV Yeah, I know and work with Bobby all the time up in the states. And, Eric's FPV is on another level. I have no doubt it will only get better, and look forward to the next one.
Anytime butterflies aren't present when they should, it always goes sideways. Unedited quick tips short videos dropping knowledge, or anything that isn't taking you away from family time is appreciated.

Is the new Joe Gibbins JD1 motor you’re running a small block design or big block? If it’s a small block what made you go that direction when it seems like everyone is going big block?
I want to say it's a small block SB2 Chevy NASCAR Cup engine... Interesting that Gibbs still has an engine shop going when their NASCAR teams get TRD support.

Great content again. Could have taken some content of the transmission change out and running at pace on the way to the finish.
Loved the video. My only suggestion would be to get better quality clips. Fan iPhone videos mixed with 4k footage is kind of sloppy. I see you’re investing in your media team which is a great start.

Driver advice please
It was 1976 or77 firecracker 250 Bobby Ferro leading as usual.one more stop at home pit and he's home free.we get word at H.P. clutch is fading quickly he can maybe make it in so my dad sandmasters pit captain orchastrates a clutch change I believe it was 17 minutes downtime .pop said he just wanted to see the look on Fritz Koyers face when Bobby flew past him.Ferro said afterwards no need for the horn and nerf just blow em off the course.pop was awfully proud of the hotvws article and cover photo

The trucks are getting too complex. Go back to the basics. Focus on reliability. Finishing is more important than going fast in these Baja endurance races. Never forget that.
