We're doing everything we can to stay positive and make the best of a less than ideal situation but we're all getting homesick and are now genuinely concerned about how long this is going to go on. We love London but we weren't prepared to move here just yet, especially without our dog or belongings! An important lesson has been learned about traveling during a pandemic. Be prepared logistically and financially for the burden of unexpectedly extending your trip, potentially by weeks!! We always try to bring light to this platform for ya but felt it was important to show up with honesty, just as we are and... it's been a tough week.

The worst anxiety I've ever had is not knowing info when trying to make plans. Sending you so much love. You’re a wonderful mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend Shenae. Life gets overwhelming and sometimes we need to just “let it out”. I for one am not good at this. I usually hold everything in until I explode and freak out on whoever I’m closest to(mom, sister, best friend). These last two years have been beyond overwhelming, and I’m trying to learn to talk things out before it gets to the point where I just explode and have diarrhea of the mouth and emotions. The last few minutes of this weeks vlog were probably my favorite because we see that y’all have the same stresses and struggles as the rest of us. Love y’all.

I hope you were able to find some relief in sharing your struggles. Although you and your family’s faces only appear on my tv/iPhone screens, I love that you always try to remember to show you’re only human. And that’s amazing and appreciated! Way to be who you are and show up for your littles in the best way you know how. And kudos to Josh for being an awesome husband and seemingly always being able to provide you the support and time you need! Hopefully your tests come back negative still and you get on your flight home! And I cross all my fingers and toes that the flights and travel are as easy on you as possible! I've been a subscriber for a while... (2 years I think...). It's not great to see someone struggling but it's a relief to understand that struggle is a common thing and we all will experience it. As also a mom of a little girl (4yo, very similar to Bowie), it's hard to keep it together sometimes. You're doing such a good job and no less of a good job to be real and not feel your best sometimes. We're with you!
I loved how honest you are in this video. I get it. My husband, 3 kids and i tested positive for covid between Dec 27th and Dec 31st which was tough of course, then on Jan 2 or 3rd i found out my bank closer my bank account without notifying me for the stupidest reason and with having covid i havent been abke to get a new bank yet and all of my money that is due to go in this month is all going to be delayed now and my husband is off wirk for the season, and our kids have been switched to inline learning here in Ontario. Its tough and its hard when you are a mom yo take that time for yourself and feel what you are feeling. You are a great role model, thank you for being real.

Things get hard sometimes and we definitely will never judge you for having moments where you need to release. We are all human. I don't mean to change the subject, but you are very eloquent when you speak. Here's hoping you take off home soon and that the next time you take a trip, it will be fun, smooth-sailing and COVID free. Kingsley is absolutely precious. You are so right: the internet is a scary place. Which is one of the reasons why I have stopped sharing. However, it's not good to succumb to fear. Instead we should choose love. And that's what you are doing. You are choosing love. You are emitting love and that's why you also attract viewers like that. You guys are such a breath of fresh air, I love seeing the dynamic you and Josh have, the deep love you have for one another and your children, the honesty and integrity you show up with. You all seem like handled the isolation well and kept going through 👍 I totally understand what you mean about being a mum and in survival mode, I think I've been doing the same over Christmas due to my gran passing away and my children coming down with chicken pox meaning we had to isolate, and wasn't the Christmas we had hoped for, but thank you for reminding me just because its a new year things aren't magically all perfect, and luckily my boys are over the chicken pox now, and we're all healthy! I also know how it feels like live away from family, and it's not easy, so I totally sympathise with you on that. Xx

Aw Shenae I felt all your overwhelm and stress at the end that must have been a LOT for you guys but you find a way to take the positives in negative situations and it's admirable! The UK is so crazy at the moment, the rules are constantly changing and no-one really knows what they are, but that's shocking that BA decided to charge that much for something out of your control. People must be ending up in all sorts of money bother! I hope you guys manage to get home and have a safe trip.

Shenae, I'm your mom's age (I have a 29 yr old daughter), and I wish I could give you a big hug. Feel the feels and you'll get through it - you always do. It's good to get it out. Thank you for being honest. Be good to you and thank your lucky stars Josh is such a great partner.

I know exactly how you feel. And you are not alone.
My good friend is 31 with a baby girl who was born 3 months early early Aug 2020. After a long NICU stay during lockdown she finally was home. Then beginning of July 2021, she, her husband and the baby got Covid. Her husband and her both were hospitalized, with their sick preemie baby cared for by family, as they panicked. Husband was on oxygen for a month, and she, having asthma, got bad, med-flighted to a big hospital, where no one could visit, in a coma as their daughter turned 1. After long battle which wasn't going well she then needed 2 months on ECMO life support to survive & allow lungs and heart to heal, which she was lucky to get (many can't), and it wasn't looking good. Long recovery and she just finally came home being able to see her baby again last week, with months of PT ahead of her because her body is in bad shape. I was widowed young, knowing that hell and to watch her husband feel so helpless, being told by doctors he may lose her and his not being able to even see her if he had to say goodbye...just grab on to that family time and enjoy every cuddle. I am so grateful for every person I hear of who deals with Covid and walks from it healthy with their loved ones.
This is such a sad story. I really hope your friend fully recovers and has a fully healthy life as a family
