- Here's my Safari Week 2021 compilation! Really happy with my haul and my catches this week though I'll be returning to the Safari Zone sooner than later because I want to reclaim some things.

The egg catches, the Venomoth, the 10 phases in a row under odds, the phase literally AT odds (which I don't think I've personally seen someone have since 2013), TWO Chansey!?! You really had it all this week - great vid, and it was a pleasure hunting with you in that simultaneously chill and chaotic multistream!!

You mentioned this on twitter but I wanted to say it again here, Safari week is awesome not only for the cool hunts, but for how connected the community is. So many new participant's each year and it only adds to the experience. I caught a shiny yanma in plat great marsh and an electrive in SS because of how motivated I was after seeing you, Absolblogs, and Dallas in that call together on twitch. An amazing event for sure.

Did safari week last year and caught a Shiny Whiscash after 338 FEs in the Great Marsh on Diamond. It was my target and I never plan to do safari week again lmao. Congrats on the shines
I got my target Nidoran male after 3 phases and almost 60k encounters, and I too don’t ever plan on doing that again lol

I found two shinys this week as I missed most of the week with real life stuff, failed both of them. But seeing you get some shinys definitely cheers me up!

I was watching this video while double-hunting Groudon and Kyogre in Ruby/Sapphire. Got shiny Groudon at 1716 SRs just after you caught your first female Nidoran! Thanks for the luck I guess, congrats for your shinies and good luck on your next hunts!

Just Wow! Most of those encounters had me on the edge of my seat with you, GGs on that beautiful shiny Venomoth! But boy that double shiny Chansey, with those baited insta flees was like a double punch to the gut! Was really looking forward to witnessing at least one of them stick around after the bait throw. Plus seeing that shiny koffing and shiny Muk was epic too, wishing those stayed for you as well but that's safari week. 19 full odd shinies is unbelievable, that has to be a record with 2 chanseys in the mix, unreal.

this vid inspired me to do a little bit of maths for the chances of successfully catching a safari zone chansey, and it came out to be around 1 in 8,359,247 to find it in the grass then catch it assuming you get to throw two balls since its base flee rate is about 50/50, if you assume it flees first turn then that bumps up to 1 in 16,718,382. finding it is barely half the battle so dont stress too much.
