In the podcast they basically said something akin to: “we don’t wanna say the offender’s name bc he did his time and it’s just going to ruin his life all over again.” Yeah… just over a year of jail is apparently sufficient to them. Predators like Peck often times get jobs that give them access to their preferred victims. It's very sad but looking at the people being accused and convicted of Peck's crimes are greatly people with jobs that give them unfettered access to children. People that are in professions that allow them free reign over children are the people that should be very carefully vetted and continually scrutinized for the safety of the kifs that they're working with.

Y’all need to quit calling Drake a victim. He was a victim when he woke up to Peck on him but stopped being a victim when he willingly returned to Peck/went to Disneyland with peck/attended parties with Pecks other pedo buddies, every other day/ every week for the next 3 years.

@@Ginny89467 he clearly said in the doc that his girlfriend’s mom made him file charges. His acceptance of the gifts, trips, parties, etc etc squashes any victim claims, you can’t accept, enjoy, participate in those gifts and be a victim, too. Clearly, he was abused the first time, but his willingness to go back continuously for years proves he was never a victim after that initial incident.
@@hollyholy641 watch again because he clearly says in the doc & multiple interviews that whilst his GFs mum notices something is off, it isn’t until 2003 when he tells his mum & she calls the police. (He does mention in 1 interview that he thinks he told his GF just before he told his mum & she encouraged him to tell his mum)
He kept going back because he didn’t know what to do or who to tell, that comes from shame & fear, it also doesn’t mean that something happened every time, Brian was skilled in what he did, he most likely ‘backed off’ for a bit before doing something else. We’ve only heard a snippet of what happened to him, piecing together other things he has said , there was more violence & threats involved in his abuse, apart from the obvious straight male being forced into male on male sexual activities by an older man!
It sounds like a lot of the CSA happened over 6-12 months so yes whilst Brian wasn’t reported until 2 years later (Drake turned 15, June 2001 & Brian was arrested Aug 2003), Drake said he became more aware & tried to avoid Brian or being at Brian’s house but he because Brian was his ‘manager’, he couldn’t just stop going without people asking questions. Brian was manipulating him with his career (I know this person, you won’t work with them etc)
Drake was 15, a teenager he didn’t have the development to be able to process & deal with everything that was going on, he clearly got to a point where he tried to distance himself from Brian but this made him put more pressure on & then he worries that Brian may be doing this to other people & that’s part of the reason he decided to tell his mum
If you’ve ever been through CSA, shame on you for saying he’s not a victim, at the time you don’t think of it being a choice. Some abusers, often shower their victim with ‘gifts’ or ‘promises’ to get them to keep quiet, maintain control over the person through fear or coercion (e.g. to keep a roof over their head or less violence by staying). If you haven’t then, lucky for you that you’ve never had to think about this kind of stuff!
@@Ginny89467 he was made to press charges, because he never would have because he didn’t see them as abusing him because he wasn’t a victim. He willingly went to these pedos houses, and not because he was just his client. He went there to go to Disneyland, to the parties, just like the rest of those MeToo celebrities. They were all willing participants in these Hollyweird games because being on Nickelodeon/movies/tv is more important than the crimes being committed against them. If he looked the other way during it, so should we 21 years later.
