My son has the same car. It is not as professionally prepared but he uses it in a similar way. He has been in Lithuania, Estonia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and Hungary. The Volvo V50 has great potential :-). Now I am preparing the car for him in Warsaw for the next trips. I am thinking about a box to make storing luggage easier.
@@daniandjoanna I bought him a used Volvo V50 after he passed his driving test. In 2 years, between Poland, Germany where he studied, Denmark where he currently studies and the Balkans, he did almost 100 thousand km. We have already replaced the clutch set, gearbox, shock absorbers, brake discs, wishbones and many other elements. The repairs exceeded the value of the car, but these are operational repairs. I think that the V50 is a very solid car and it is worth investing in it.
😂😂 I won’t drive nor do I like riding in small vehicles I drive a pick up truck 🛻. But we did used to camp in our van with a big mattress 👍. Now we haul a camper. Have a fun time guys, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦
Easy, if you push the front seats forwards a tiny bit. I am 5.9/10 and I fit perfectly fine whiteout moving the seat forwards from my driving position.
The V70 might be the better option for you. If you check out our latest video about car camping you can see how we made a "table" that turned out to be a pretty good idea :)

The roof box added a lot of space and it's easy to access. Sounds like your son has had a lot of adventures with the Volvo! They are such good cars!

red on the screws are locktight to keep the bolt from coming loose from vibration.
And I thought it was the opposite and that it was something to keep them from seizing up 😅
26:10" - Dad - Every little helps 😉

Awesome I bet you get to see some amazing places. Canada would be an epic road trip !! 💃 Thanks for watching 🙏🤗
Would the v50 be big enough for someone 6ft tall?

@@daniandjoanna awesome. Thankyou. I'm trying to decide between a v50 or v70

Яка ширина та довжина спального місця?
180cm+ x 110cm
Дякую!
Why dont you just let the dog sleep on the passenger seat .Would give you more room in the back
That's an option for when we don't need to be inconspicuous 😅
Dumbest thing I’ve ever seen picking the smallest estate car on the market with no height at all.
Dumbest comment I've ever read, if I wanted height I would pick a van. 🤭
