OMG, this is something I SO resonate with! I recently even wrote about ‘fear of your own potential’ and you really validated me! I felt that if with “such high standards”, I have less friends, I’ll have no friends at all if I raise my standards anymore when actually they were not that high, which got me into a bad situation. So that created conflict within me because I wanted to raise my standards and yet I couldn’t even while I was doing stuff to get there; I just didn’t have the right mindset. People also often call me ‘idealistic’, but then I think that people probs also called Galileo, Einstein and the Wright brothers crazy. I read this quote which said “If an idea doesn’t seem absolutely bizarre at once, it’s not revolutionary.” And Einstein wouldn’t have got there had he listened to people calling him crazy and idealistic and shrinking himself, so why should I?! Some would even call me crazy for comparing MYSELF to those great people, but I realise that even they had inspirations at my age and couldn’t even imagine getting where they did. Being a little delusional is actually important! So thank you for this vid, it’s a very helpful and much needed reminder for me :)
Recently I've been playing small too, because i got work and I've been excelling even tho I'm the youngest, and my colleagues are getting jealous and they've been bashing me behind my back so i tried to be small, feel small, but I'm not happy about it 😔 so that's why your timing is so so right, thanks for reminding us Queen simone that we don't need to make ourselves small when we're born to standout. I love you so much, love lots and always take care too!❤❤
I’ve been playing small because I went through a huge internal transformation over the course of a year and a half. I was in a friend group where one friend was the star and we did the same exact thing but she was just letting herself shine and I loved to help her shine. But now I realize it’s my turn! And I work hard and deserve to be the star that I am. It’s going to be uncomfortable because I’m used to my behind the scenes role. But I’m ready to be the main character in my life.

I uploaded my first vlog on my channel, I will see how it goes. I was always afraid of my dad seeing it. Coz we are from a conservative country and for women doing these type of things are shameful. But I never thought like this and in fact I considered this belief ridiculous. It was just my dad preventing me from doing anything. Maybe my subconscious mind is afraid of my dad seeing me online, a great advice. I will work on it
