thanks for the update, really means a lot. your video helps me to make the decission whether should i dip my figure or not. there is very few information about the after effect of hydrogen peroxide treatment out there, very well appreciated
A second treatment will start breaking down the plastic and you'll risk all kinds of damage. I'm not sure if you knew this or not but the peroxide treatment only lasts about 2 years before the bromine yellowing comes back. As you genuinely risk the plastic breaking down on multiple treatments this is never going to be a long term solution to the yellowing. I've done this to many different things years ago and all became yellow again within a couple of years.
@@P3SS3SSOd thanks so much for your comment, I had no idea doing it a second time would start to do that. You’ve saved several old figures from plastic Armageddon!
@@beardedgeektoyreviews836 No problem. I see so much misinformation about this technique and people finding it for the first time really think it's a magic bullet.. as I did. There's a lot of bad stuff that can go wrong with even one application (I've had pieces break simply being in the sun for a little too long), the only real use for this application is for the unethical reseller who wants to caxh in before it re-yellows.
That was awesome - great job! Very interesting to see a restoration. 👍
That's a great tip. Some of my figures have become discoloured & some Dr Who ones.
