    This is truly an amazing machine. I had a 2013, though went back to cruiser/touring style. Of all the bikes I've had, only miss this one. May get another some day.

      It is an amazing all around bike. Just sold it and the guy put 700 miles in 1 day riding home to Boston. That is more than I did in a year ha (too many bikes)

    i had both a Concours and ZX14 in Mexico, I cross the border everyday to go to work in San Diego.
    unless you want to wait 4-10 hours in a car to cross the border and poop on the side of the road while waiting

    ZX 14 engine cases, thats it. Internals totally different. Still AMAZING bikes and power a plenty.

      Makes sense. Too big for my city rides around DC but great for iron butt

    I know this is an old post, your review is severely flawed! I have an 09. There is shaft maintenance, greasing the ring gear every tire change. It's a 1352 not a 1400. There is a total of 4 pistons in the front calipers. The battery's go dead in the brake sensors, just remove them and use a tire gauge. Handle bar risers help tremendously, The seat is horrible for any lengthy ride, I had a custom one made. And the exhaust is a giant boat anchor, any aftermarket helps. Also getting the ECU flashed makes the bikes power band so much more pleasurable. Do your homework before you do a review especially with a bike this complicated!

    I like overkill.
    This is what America is about.

    Bizarre how the 2021 Concours still doesn't have cruse control.

    • @DC2100Motors1
      @DC2100Motors1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that should be standard. I have a bike someone put a tension crusie control on throttle grip. Not safe at all

      @@DC2100Motors1 Yeah, those throttle locks are dicey.
      It's weird how Kawi puts a CC on the ZX10R, but not the Connie.

      @@lovelessissimo That makes no sense. A super sport but not a cruiser. Maybe due to a lawsuit?

      @@DC2100Motors1 I am guessing it's simply because it's ride by wire and kawi hangs it's hat on being the most "streetable" super sports.
