Got a new trailer! heavy duty hydraulic deck over tilt & load

- Another video from a while back in the summer of the very first time I used my new 22' hydraulic deck over tilt and load trailer. Super stoked to finally have my dream trailer and ready to start moving some real heavy scrap!
Installed a new 10k lbs winch inside a steel tool box on the deck and upgraded my leaf springs to help with the heavy loads. Thanks for watching!

I have a tilt trailer with a manual winch. I like the manual winch because not much can go wrong. It is just takes elbow grease to get the vehicle on the trailer.

I've had batteries just die on me after lifting. So you could winch a vehicle on your tilt deck, the battery die, and not be able to lower the lift. You are stuck. And now if you were to unhitch ... your trailer could roll away. Hope someone can get you a new battery. Sometimes those jump start batteries don't have enough CCA to lift that cylinder. Dual Batteries might be a good idea. Also a good battery tester that can tell you the % CCA or %MCA before you go do a job might save your bacon.
yeah definitely a good idea to always have a back up plan in case the battery dies. I have a second battery as back up most of the time now and I also have some really long jumper cables that will reach to the trucks battery and will give more amps while the truck is running 👍
@scrap2cash712 I have a pig tail on my winch with a quick connect plug and then have cables ran to the back of my truck from my batter and then.a 5ft cable that runs between my truck and trailer to use as back up incase the batter in my trailer does die.
Get a J-hook V-Bridle for winching your cars up.
I do have one this was just the first time I ever used this trailer

Pasele una linga por la parrilla de la rueda con dos ojales en cada punta y después si una cadena que la cierra con un mosqueton y por unos de los eslabones le pasa el gancho del malacate.

How's the suspension holding up in your half ton GMC sierra Truck with a tilt deck car trailer
I upgraded the rear leaf springs right after I got it and since I did that its had no issues with it. It definitely puts more stress and wear and tear on the suspension though lol. Looking like I might need some work on the front end suspension soon

the van rolled a bit because it was on a bit of a slope and my buddy was pushing it in the beginning

Bro the hydraulic battery does not charge from car? 7 pin cable?
its supposed to but it does not seem to work. I park it right at my house now so its easy enough to plug it in a charge it all the time anyways
It only charges the emergency breakaway brakes battery, not the other battery.
