What's up @trueunderdoggaming I watch your channel all the time man you got great content on mortal Kombat I was actually going to ask if you ever played soul Calibur before Maxie he's my favorite character on it he's awesome with the nunchucks. I just got soul Calibur 6 and I'm playing man it's pretty awesome.
It’s depressing how they handled Maxi in Soul Calibur 5. His role as the mentor of the new generation seemed so cool and there was so much they could’ve done with him. Imagine if the story had actually been centered on him and his crew going to find and bring Kilik back from the brink. It would’ve been so good for the characters. Seeing Leixia getting to travel with someone she clearly idolises, to go and find the man her mother loved. And Xiba finally getting to meet his father and learn who he truly is. Hell, even Natsu, who actually resembles Maxi as a character more than Taki, could have some brilliant scenes where she gets to bond with Maxi and overcome everything she deals with. Finally, a full story with Maxi, finally over his desire for revenge and learning to go about life as a mentor to his best friends’ children? That story sounds far more interesting than anything Patroklos and Pyrrha did. And it would’ve given us a real reason to care about Leixia, Xiba and Natsu.
I know it is unlikely, but I like to imagine that things ended well for Maxi, given that Kilik died hunting supernatural threats, Xianhua lost the man she loved and had to give up her son, AT LEAST one of them deserves a happy ending! I think Maxinand Taki will be the next two characters revealed.
I’m not that much of a soul calibur fan but when I played soul calibur 2 with darth Vader, it made me more interested in the game. When I fought against maxi, he was extremely hard to fight against. I loved his design with his costume and move set. He reminds me of Bruce Lee/ Marshall law from tekken.
when i main him, i have a strat called "freestyle" and to explain it is on 0:30 and the rest are kinda bit hard to execute but if u main every character u can execute some of the combos

You forgot to mention how Natsu and Lexia also joined up with him, Lexia to help find Kilik and Natsu to find clues on her master.
