Shidou’s potential as a true striker is actually crazy. Sae deemed him as one of the few people that is worthy of his passes and actually lived up to his expectations with Sae telling him he might give over his phone number if he scores a hattrick during the U-20 match which he does which is super impressive

He considered it a hattrick cause Sae lost the ball, enabling Isagi to finish the game.

After the game, it is unconfirmed if they actually traded numbers as Shidou doesn't actually score a hattrick, and Sae says he'd think about giving his number after he takes a shower.

True, I think with Shidou's character it's similar to Barou's. In their eyes other people have to prove themselves on the field first before they gain their respect.
Shidou is a big fan of the plays and limit breaking. Its why he gets so horny over Sae lmao.
Rin is egotistical but not in the self empowering way and more of the bitter way.
Shidou's def better to befriend as long as you can prove to be worthy of his respect.
Shidou makes bakugo seem like a pg character, but shidou and isagi play 2 different styles and have 2 different types of spacial awareness. So they are both broken but none is better than the other. Both op.
Rin too is in the same level or probably above
@@JoaoAckerman899 Rin has natural talent and understanding of the game. But his spatial awareness is still just at the level of spatial awareness that Isagi had when he discovered it. It’s not as useful as Shidou’s highly concentrated spatial awareness in the box, because Shidou is basically guaranteed to score if he gets the ball in the box and that ability makes it extremely likely too.

So sae also worked for where he is, but the fact that rin is that good at a base level without a crazy weapon or an awakening yet,

Look ik isagi is the main character but I never thought he was gonna surpass shidou anytime soon because he’s got so much potential but props to isagi for surpassing shidou
I like that as op as Isagi seems, he's never in a position where you can call him the best player because simply his physical dissadvantages. It gives you a chance to love the other characters while still holding high respect for the mc himself for working so hard to match them.
@@lunarm4 that's the same for a lot of sports anime protagonists. Like Shoyo Hinata, or Aoi Ashito for instance.
@@genericsonicfan581 ...and I'll continue liking them for that reason. It shows respect to the sport favoring each teammate and showing the importance of all positions. Even though I liked Kuroko's no Basket, they didn't do that as well. I understand why because in most cases in basketball there will be star players that do the most scoring but I didn't have much care for the other players because of it. Haikyuu is still my number one fav sport anime along with Hajime no Ippo in close second. There isn't many characters I don't like on any of those anime plus Bluelock whether they are side characters or antagonists.
I like how shidou compliments isagi for that goal, but rin just call it luck and they start fighting for that
Thats why i like shidou he is not crying but show that not everyone is perfect.

Isagi was in line to score three goals if it wasn't for genius defensive plays in u20 match. Shiduo probably scores more if he played whole game. I also think the back line will look different when they play again.
i really wanna see niko become the defensive version of isagi, he's similar to isagi in so many ways so it'd be cool to see him mirroring isagi in that sense

Isagi is the main character. He has to surpass the other players. But I think Shidou and Sae are on a whole new level. Rin is close enough I think. Plus Isagi just got metavision. Which Sae has already been using. Shidou also scores a lot with his demonic plays. Rin is just a bit above Isagi because he has more physical skills. I guess we have to wait for Paris X Gen vs Bastard Munchen match.

@@jaybangalan8467 No dude. Isagi just got Meta vision. Sae has been using such abilities since long and has more experience, field IQ, and physical skills. Plus Shidou is better than Isagi in terms of physical skills. Isagi has more field IQ than Shidou but definitely not more than Sae. He hasn't even played Sae in Bastard Munchen yet. And in the U20 match the only reason Sae let him score is because he wanted to humble Rin.

Still don't think Isagi has surpassed neither Rin or Shidou for one being that before the Neo Egoist League he definitely wasn't better than them and for 2 being that on top of their prodigy skills they are learning new things at paris x gen with loki, but we'll see if Isagi plays them in his next match. ( Btw pretty sure Rin already has meta vision considering that he went crazy and entered some kind of mental state, could read all of sae's moves in the u20 match and it definitely wasn't flow 😂 )

He has potential to be one of the most flexible strikers but not enough to surpass Noel Noa, the way Noel Noa analyze the game is light years ahead of Shidou, and to add on to that his physique is wild, Shidou probably won’t ever get close to that because of his genes, and to top all that off Noa is ambidextrous with both feets so whatever angle you guard him from he will score.
Nah maybe if he hits his prime but rn Noa acknowledges Isagi to be able to surpass him. And remember Isagi is behind in physical traits, dribbling skills, and speed yet Noah acknowledge his ability to surpass him
