Im currently in my second year of flute, I know my Bb scale by heart but I wanna learn more. I really wanna get first chair flute eventually so I’m gonna keep learning scales!
That's so wonderful to hear! There are some great scales books out there that will help too. I just teach the basics of scales on here, but if you really want to master them, I'd get a book that offers more. Here's one I recommend for second year flutists: www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/improve-your-scales-flute-grades-1-3-sheet-music/20765224?aff_id=736001
Really take your time. I recommend learning from a book (Rubank Elementary Method is my favorite). What you'll do is find your fingering - so let's say the fingering to C. Play it, several times over again while looking at the note on the paper (you want your mind to make the connection of seeing it, feeling it, knowing what fingers go with it. Then do that for the next note. Then practice between going between the notes.

i cannot play a D. a high pitched noise keeps happening and i’m not even blowing hard :(
Try adjusting your embouchure a bit. See if tightening or looseing helps. Try changing the direction of your air as well.
Let me know if that works. If not, we'll keep looking into it. We'll figure it out :)
