This has lye, about 0.5-0.8%. This is Drano pipe opener! It is a pretty good, cheap carpet cleaner. We clean greasy restuarant carpet with it. We put 0 .5 (half) per gallon of water in our machine. We put 2 oz per gallon of water as an overall pre-spray. To treat traffic lanes or spots, we use 4-6 oz per gallon. We'd NEVER use it stronger. It will strip out the color at stronger dilutions. NEVER use it straight! You don't need to!

I know one guy on here that mixes water and dish liquid to it to detail and clean inside of the car do not know why the dish liquid.I used that in my carpet cleaner at home too I put some in the machine and I use the spray bottle too to spray spots.

@@peterhewel8984 my grandfather who is 91 said he had a old carpet cleaner guy who was in the business for 40 years and on real bad spots he had to pre treat he would pull lighter fluid out of his pocket and spray the area….the guy swore by it for residential carpet stains…..I don’t think I would try it in my car though
Omg you're supposed to dilute it with water first and get it out the carpet with a machine, not just let it set on there like that! That stuff is damaging and bad to breathe in like that, if you detailed my car I'd be so mad!

Being a professional carpet cleaner do you think that needs to be extracted after putting all that chemical into the carpet?

Use a shop vac to vacuum up the product and dirt after you agitate. You may be pleasantly surprised with the end result.

no, use it full strength. Use a wet & dry shop vac after scrubbing to suck up the dampness. Good product
