My ex pulled this nonsense with my son but I just walked away. I refused to let her manipulate my emotional state. Did it suck? Yeah, but sometimes you have to consider your own health.
I told her I'd still pay child support even if she gave me my son and she accepted. 6 months later I contacted support enforcement and informed them of the living situation, produced receipts for his enrollment in my school district, and requested the official end to child support. That's how I got custody of my son when he was 13: she willingly gave up custody thinking he was still going to be a paycheck for 6 more years only to have the rug yanked out from under her 6 months later. I had to correct the lies his mother told him after years of being denied access but our relationship has never been stronger (he's 18 now and I'm paying for trade school for him). He's a bright kid and it's too bad that his mother valued hurting me more than his well being, but that's her problem.

It’s amazing how she feels entitled to having a man pay for her hair getting done. Honey if you can’t afford to pay for your own hair to get done then you don’t need to go on your date. Or you can simply do your own hair. But to expect a whole new man to pay for your hair to get done just to go on a date should make you feel uncomfortable. In my opinion, I would never fix my lips to ask a man to get my hair done. There’s a sense of pride that comes with being able to manage my upkeep with my own $$. Now if you were in a long term relationship or marriage, allow your partner to offer if that’s what he feels he wants to do. But be able to manage your own upkeep. It’s dope. Just my thoughts.

My Mom used to pull stuff like this. When I was born my dad changed his entire lifestyle to be able to support and have a relationship with me. My mom did a lot of despicable things just to spite him. One of my earliest memories is having to talk to my dad through the closed front window while my mother stood over and refereed it. He had driven an hour just to be able to do that. And sad thing is we did the classic “hand touch through barrier” thing you see in movies or whatever. I’m 20 now and I can honestly say I still struggle with hatred for my mom but not as bad as I once did. It took alot from my end along with my dad pushing for me to have a good relationship with her and forgive her like he has. He is a great man and it’s sad that men like him have to go through all of that and jump through hoops to have a relationship with their child knowing they could just give up like any other black man and not go through the trouble.

My ex tried this when my son was born. She lied to me about what time we were to sign the birth certificate in the hospital the day after his birth just so she could keep me off of the birth certificate and keep him from me just because our relationship didn't work because she cheated. I took her to court for my visitation time, for paternity, and child support (yes I took her to court for me to pay support to her) and had my son's last name changed to mine. I recently posted a video of me doing exercise with my daughter on Facebook and her mom randomly tells me that it was disrespectful for me to post our daughter without HER or her boyfriend's permission. Bro! WHAT! I'm collecting police reports and silently waiting until the end of January to serve her the court visitation papers.

Bro, file for visitations in family court. If you are on child support or not you have the same rights to your daughter. First time she doesn't let you get your daughter after the court has set visitations, call the police and file charges. They will arrest her for violating a court order. Women get real humble when you put them laws in their business like they put them in ours. Nothing will embarrass her more than being escorted from her home in handcuffs in from of all of her neighbors. Just like women use family court to make men pay child support, men need to use that same court to make women stop playing with us, and using our children like pawns. Once I started going to family court behind my daughter, my child's mother got some act right real quick. After that, I didn't argue with her, or feed into her negative energy... I just used the courts to fight for my child.

Even now I'm doing my best to forgive her but it's hard to forgive someone when that person has kept a whole other part of yourself hidden from you for 22 years(I'm 29 rn) so that's my story.
Fellas your kids will love you once they grow older if you're experiencing that level of abuse and extortion I highly suggest either keeping receipts for court or finding an alternative.

Not only do I lose time seeing her till she annoys her mom enough for her let me see her. I'm labeled a dead beat. She truly feels since shes mom. What she says gos and I'm just here to pay for things and watch our daughter when her babysitters are busy. Mind you I've already offered to watch our daughter while she works. Changed careers to make sure I can work hrs I want to make sure I can. Pick her up and take her to school. It's a no your not a good role model. Even though when things at her house or car messes up I get a phone call to come save the day because our daughter lives there but, me offering our daughter my home till she get things fixed a hell no. Couldn't see my daughter for months because I lived in a "bad" neighborhood. Even though she had a man that abused her and did meth living with them. Dude was also a racist called me and my little girl porch monkeys. I don't care how wrong she does I'm the one getting treated like the bad parent yet I'm always there when shit needs to get done for my little girl. Right now the arguments are me getting ore than 2 days of a heads up if she wants to put our kids somewhere that cost money so i can plan my budget accordingly. That's going nowhere. Even though I now have a wife and 3 other kids to provide for. Mind you my son saw her as his mom for 5 yrs the day we broke up she kicked us both out telling him to his face she cant be his mom no more because me and her wernt together. After promising him she was never going to leave him like his actual mom did. Lies to her friends I dont pay. So I had to show them the cash app and facebook payments. Bro I had to call the police on her couple months ago because she broke in my house trying to take our daughter because I told her she's not handling our daughter's quick outburst out her house right. At my house she's the only girl so she doesn't have to share shit. She now has a new baby sister and is having new feelings that comes with it like sharing time with mommy etc. My baby mama will fuss her out and punish her and not talk to her. Daddy does. Sorry this was long man had that bottled up for a min.

I've tried to be in his life but his mom tells him that I'm not his father, he's real father is who she's married to. Even though the DNA test says I'm the father. Now that she's in NC she has been trying to get me to sign my rites away saying that "if you son gets hurt here, I don't want the doctors wasting my sons time trying to track you down for permission to get any medical care done. I told her "I'd never sign my rights away. To me that's a death sentence and she wins.

I had to get my mom to play mediator just so I could talk to them and finally see them again. It was very heartbreaking to the point where I was falling back into a deep depression again. And then in 2021 instead of allowing my to file my youngest she went and file both of them, because she felt as though she had the right to. But we had an agreement that she'll have them Monday-Thursdays and I get them Friday-Sunday. All because I've moved on and wasn't taking her mind games and sitting on the back burner just to get back together again with her. Also I work 24/7 and I sometimes get the weekend off to spend time with them. I also had to pay her $100 just so I could get my boys for my youngest birthday who turned 2 back in 2020 which was the worst part. Cause she wasn't even trying to let me celebrate his birthday with them both.

He would be gone months at a time, but he’d send money for the bills (my mom never paid them and just pocketed the money, our cars got repossessed and our water bill was a year past due) and come back home when his shows were on their off seasons.. but when he was gone my mom moved another man into the house.. (who was on trial for molesting 5 kids, never convicted) and told me and my sisters my dad would beat her, r*pe her, and verbally abuse her. Now my dad wasn’t a great person and he struggled emotionally so his words were always harsh and really hurt but he never beat us or did anything inappropriate.. anyway.. my mom told everyone these lies, everyone we knew believed my dad was some horrible abuser, so when my parents separated I believed my mom (because my dad was gone all the time) she filed restraining orders against him, made all these claims and then one day, dropped me off with him so I could see my sisters, and she left the state with her pedophile bf and went to the OC Zoo.. then being forced to live with my dad, I learned the truth.. I saw he was trying to change, he was opening up emotionally, and all my mom did was lie and abandon her kids because after the divorce she turned to drugs and crime..

She would also use to try to tell me he was a bad dad and that he don't care about me and allow all of her ex-boyfriends to try to tell me that too. I had a child in high school 16 years old my girlfriend at the time was 15. With the story I must go on into deep detail so you can understand the type of relationship we really had. We started dating when she was in the eighth grade and I was in a nine. So with that being said we really didn’t see each other , because we were at to different schools. So usually whenever I get home early from school I’ll walk to her school just so I can walk with her while she walk home . ( we stayed in the same neighborhood until we both graduated from high school) One day Im standing outside of school waiting on my gf to be let out . When she came out we started walking as usual until a guy in a cop uniform approached us. And said “ stay tf away from my daughter “ then process to tell his daughter to get in the squad car . Long story short that only made us more driven to see each other . Fast forward a year later . ( keep in mind her father and mother was so strict she wasn’t allowed to have boyfriends with that being said I only saw her at school honestly during passing periods. How our school system is set up out of the mouth we get two days every other week that we go to school late it’s called a late start sometimes class will start at 10:30 or 1130 so with that being said she will act like she’s leaving for school early but instead come over to my house and catch the bus together and go to school later in the day) She get pregnant. And when she found out we were both.. shocked and scared bc we was both kids trying to act grown you know? .. at the time I was scared to tell my mom shit ! And she was also scared she we didn’t tell anyone anything. She manage to hid the pregnancy from her parents for 6 months ! Her parents made her sign up for the high school freshman team basketball . Because that’s what she did she play basketball. So she went to tryouts just so she wouldn’t tell her parents that she was pregnant. During tryouts her coach stopped her and told her what are you doing you’re pregnant she told her basketball coach yeah but my parents doesn’t know. And that’s how the beans got spilled to her parents. I remember her coming to school the next day crying like that day was her last day living on this planet. I asked her was wrong if she replied to said “ my parents wants me to get an abortion they’re going to take me to the doctors office after school today” and when she said that really upset angry “ and I said why they can’t do that are you gonna sit and let them do that to you” she told me she didn’t have a choice. And at that moment I didn’t know she was telling me who she really was as a person at the time . So the next day comes and I see her in the hallway again ( keep in mind at this point in time her parents took her phone actually been taking her phone on and off every time she gets caught talking to me ) she’s happy she tells me her parents can’t make her get the abortion because she’s too late in the pregnancy . So she had to have a baby . All of this occurred in the month of November , towards thanksgiving break she told me her parents will be taking her out of school and homeschooling her until the next following semester. ( oh and I forgot to mention her parents told her to tell me not to tell my mom and my family about the baby) fast forward January 15, 2015 2:08 PM English class last class of the day I get a email on my school laptop from my girlfriend at the time I open up the email and I see pictures of my beautiful son while sitting in class trying to keep my emotions in. She tell me his name and how much she weighed. I knew her parents were still on bullshit because she was communicating with me on her school laptop as well.

Prt 2- hang with me y’all . Fast forward three weeks later first week in February she comes back to school And her presents with me with me was strange and really off almost as if she didn’t know me , and didn’t want to know me . I immediately start asking her when can I see my son. She’s playing around the bush “oh I don’t know soon just soon “ bro when I tell you shit just didn’t feel right with her anymore like in my soul and my spirit I felt that shit. I’ll say towards the end of February I’m 17 at this point and she was going on 16 in March , I was at a family members house chilling with my family an old friend knocked on the door. Asking me to come outside to walk to somebody else crib I said OK cool. The thing was he showed up to my house with two guns. 1 was real the other was fake . He said he was tired of holding both of them and asked me if I can hold one. I said yeah give me the fake one . We took off walking in the snowy weather . As we’re walking a Squad car creeps up on us while walking to our friend house . Stops and Lo and behold it’s my BM father stepping out the squad car lookin to put a 100 yrs ona boy head 😂. So I instantly call my mom And put my phone in my pocket so she could hear and listen to what was going on . And on top of that we ain’t even leave off the block yet we walk 5 houses down the street and got stoped . My mom came down the street after she heard what was goin on . She started to ask my baby mother father who was the cop on the scene that arrested us. He told my mom I was going to jail because I had a gun on me but in all reality the gun was actually fake my friend who had a gun was real and ended up spending 2 weeks in the county. And then that’s when I told my mom about the baby in front of him and my mother . And I remember her father saying these words under his breath ( there goes our plants) after I told my mom about the baby while standing in handcuffs she started crying and turned towards the officer and asked him why didn’t you reach out to me like an adult and tell me and that’s when he made the comment he made under his breath and walked away. By that time it was considered internal affairs because he personally knew me and couldn’t take me down to the police station. So another cop did. Oh and by the way her dad took my phone while he was arresting me I never gave my shit back claims he lost it in the snow somewhere while putting it in his pocket. So this is where things get very interesting go get some popcorn roll up a blunt ,
I’ll say two days after The whole fake gun incident . Me and my mother decided to go to Walmart buy the baby a whole bunch of gear shoes clothes baby bottles whatever she needed whatever he needed and some flowers you you know try to make a peace offering because my mom‘s been dying to see her grandbaby after hearing about him a month after he was born. In the mist of being a Walmart shopping doing all the stuff that we said we were going to do we ran into my babies mother mother ! I turn towards my mom I said Ma that’s my bm mom over there . My mom said OK we’re going to go over there and introduce ourselves . We walked over to the lady and introduce ourselves while she look like she was getting pranked by mtv 🙄 we simply said we would like to see the boy . Man when I tell y’all Karen act up I mean care and act OUT!!!! She started telling us that her daughter didn’t have a baby that her daughter was even in the state right now . Just flipping the whole script started acting crazy. She stop shopping and just left the store then call the police which made matters worse on us because her husband was a “cop” . So fast forward A month later. Sometime in March 2015

WTAF though? My dudes - stay vigilant. She is not the prize...a healthy, kind, emotionally stable relationship is. Don't get caught up in the WOMAN, stay focused on the GOAL. The second a woman treats you as though you owe her something, drop her. Don't ever treat a woman like she owes you anything either because she never feels she does and will keep score. If she treats ANYONE (her friends, her boss, strangers, her dog) with more respect than she gives you, DROP her because considering the weight of the investment you put in of your time, effort, money, affection, etc., the only people who will ever have invested even as close to as much in her and a relationship with her would be her parents. Keep an even closer eye on how she treats THEM. That will tell you all you need to know about how entitled she TRULY is.

    I pay child support.
I see my child once a week for dinner and every other weekend.
We have a patenting plan we both signed and I get my child every other holiday.
On the parenting plan Christmas and Christmas eve are separate holidays.
We've been rocking the same plan for 5 years now but this year(2021) it was an issue. Thanksgiving week i had my child for Wed dinner, Thurs Thanksgiving, and my scheduled weekend when I suggested to jus make it a long weekend some that translated to I should lose time wit my child, so I opted to stick to the plan and do the whole back and forth dance.
Shortly before Christmas eve i was asked what should my child be dropped off to me.
I reminded her that I have her Christmas and it's my weekend.
I was told I could have my child Christmas eve or not at all and I should never have my child for Christmas since I don't even celebrate it.
I was not allowed to have my child until 6pm (the parenting plan states holidays end at 6 pm) when I should've had my child since 9 am. In appreciative of any and all time I get wit my child however my child does not live wit me and I'm always there for whatever my child needs, I jus don't is fair to make things more difficult then they need to be for someone trying to be a part of their child's life. Now had I shown up and showed out I'd be in jail🤬
These women hate men and think we all nothing but dogs but it's them that make us like that. I'm not excusing bad behavior however I can sympathize when i hear what some men do. Sometimes I feel like I'm made to feel like I'm not doing the most or the best I can if I'm not robbing a bank in the name of my child🤦🏾‍♂️

The second case really resonates with me.
My mother moved us hundreds of miles away from my father and a lot of family when I was really young. She raised me to believe he was a pos and she was an innocent victim.
Fast forward to my 30's and I was finally able to have a relationship with my father. Only to find out that he is, and has always been, a decent dude. Things just didn't work out with them. Dispite all the poison she put in my head about him over the years, he's never had a negative thing to say about her to me.
Now...even though I love my mother, I also resent her a bit, and it's hard to hide. Because of her, I grew up fatherless and in a strange place. Despite the lies telling them otherwise, the truth is: A woman is not equipped to raise a boy to be a man, on her own. I had to learn from the neighborhood and TV/music. She tried...she's college educated and even has her doctorate. But I missed so much about being a man, by not having my father in my life.
I can't put all the blame on her though...that's what was championed in her time. She was taught to be a strong black woman who doesn't need a man. We need put an end to this destructive mindset.

Woman who use their children as leverage make my blood boil. I've been through this. I ended up spending around 10k in legal fees. She dragged my name through the mud. Saying I was abusive, manipulative cheater and what not which were all lies. She was the abusive 1, she was the 1 who cheated while I was at work yet nothing was said after all that come to light. I almost lost my job because of these allegations but luckily I had an employer who knew what kind of person I am and the character I have. But after all her lies she wasn't prosecuted or anything. The court acted like it didn't even happen. I ended up getting visitation rights which was amazing and spent a lot of quality time with my son. The first visit I had with him was about a year since we had seen each other so he was a little hesitant which I thought was strange. Only to find out she had been telling him that I was the 1 who didn't want to see him and that I had told her that I didn't love him which broke my heart. I can't understand why these woman aren't held accountable for their actions yet me are to the highest standards. It blows my mind.

My mother played the same game with my father. Fed me nothing but lies. My father is now deceased. I found out the truth. We aren’t on speaking terms. On top of her being a part time mother, I was raised by Grandparents. For the guilt of not being there consistently growing up (In which her main focus was her new husband. Smh) She now sides with my son’s mother on everything. Leaving me powerless as a authority figure to my son. She oversteps her boundaries as a Grandparent, & her excuse is “he didn’t ask to be here”. I’m like where was that energy when was I growing up. You tryin to assume position on my child whom I’m invested in. Despite a high court ordered child support that’s been in place since 2004. She still oversteps it. My son’s mother has used this to her advantage. In so many words, they are peas of the same pod. Making up lies… difference is now, my son has access to receipts to see the real truth. But refuses to see it for what it is because they have him blinded. The ugly cycle continues.

as a 35 year old man, with two wives that are 29 and 27, i've absolutely no issues within the dating scene. regularly dating women between 20-40. the types of people you attract only speaks to your own character.

Yup... I dealt with this with my mom & dad growing up. My mom constantly bashing, teasing, & bad mouthing him to me to the point to where she had me thinking that he was a lying idiot (this is through the late 80s-early 2000s). As I grew up & learned for myself, he was none of that.

First thing you do in a toxic relationship is lower the temperature, The way that you lower the temperature is you find that even tone voice. This is going to be tone and damenor you are always going to use with your baby moma always and everytime you communicate with her. This is the basis for never ever let her see you sweat.

Just FYI people you don't have to live up to other people's expectations/ social media expectations.. we all like what we like just have enough integrity to take responsibility for the decisions you've/we've made that put us in situations/positions that we could've avoided .... At least she was explained how she felt/ thought before hand.. people we have to ask questions

It happened to me. My ex husband was really spiteful. I paid child support. Sometimes, I didn't see my babies for 6 months to almost a year. When I finally got custody, he only paid twice. The case was closed last year. He never paid.

1st girl: I just hope no dude thinks she’s so fine he’ll put up with this mess.
2nd girl: That child will grow up and tell her about herself. More fathers need to document everything and file for custody. Let her see how it feels to run everything by you and pay you child support.

Women like this are despicable. They wanna be vengeful and who loses in the end? The children.

Despite the relationship status of the father of my child . My journey with this pregnancy I kept telling him to be involved and went to keep seeing him, he was telling me how much he wanted to be involved I told him hey I have an appointment on Whatever day he said ok he didn’t ask what time nor where, he wants to be there, when he wants to, he said he gonna take me to court. I said u go do that, and I’ll request child support, but if u don’t take me to court I’m not going to ask you for anything. I told him I will tell our kid the truth and let them make the decision I’m not bitter, even though u putting me in a f**ed up situation. I told him U can’t pick and chose when u wanna be there for your kid.

This video hit home for me...I was with a woman for 4 years had 2 kids with her and I haven't seen my son's in almost a year why idk she stopped responding to me 6 months ago after I let her know that the boys had a new little brother on the way...and befor that when I was in town I'd let her know when I was getting in town (I live a state away) and when I'd be leaving and she would only respond after the time I said I'd be back in the road...females are a trip
