My friends Alton and Kevin have a new group I haven't caught yet, and I was happy schedules worked out for me to catch a casual show they held at The Artist Café in downtown Springfield. Alton (saxophone) and Kevin (drums) are always awesome live, and the rest of Mavrodaphne met the high expectations I have for any musicians they play with. I'm excited to catch them again - remember to support local music!
