This was THE game of my childhood. I played all throughout it but I never beat it. Sometimes the save data deleted somehow, sometimes it was too hard. I remember the last part I got to was the final level in K Rool's hideout. I remember that being very scary because you had to beat the level under 60 minutes or so. It was creepy but epic as well. Watching these cute scenes where all cute Kongs are happy and chilling after beating the evil makes me happy. Thank you.
@@TanderXS Well, because of crap like that, guess what? My quest came to a grinding halt. You think they'd make another cutscene in Hideout Helm that said, "Hey, wasn't there an arcade game back at the Factory? Maybe that could help me open the door..." after collecting the Rare Coin.
Thank you for this experience. It was great seeing all the levels I loved so much as a kid so many years later. Fungi Forest at night will forever be my favorite, but Creepy Castle is a close second.
I felt this whole boxing thing was unnecessary. I wanted a a battle between K Rool and the five Kongs, but this was too silly, even by this games standards.
I know this is late, but I feel like the battle continued the trend of how the other K.Rool battles were like. In the first game, he was dressed in his usual attire. In the second game, he was a pirate and was a scientist in the third. Cosplay was always the main gimmick of King K.Rool’s battles; only it is now used in an extremely new level.
me too, i like the old stuff. plus it's got many themes, forest astec creepy factory, even a RING! and the rap in the begining was awesome! reintroduction to donkey and diddy with new abilitys, and new kongs. I never played this game yet but I will..... when I'm about 15 and have the money for an xbox

The one and only donkey kong game I really liked. If any games of nintendo deserves a remake or a rerelease its this one. Maybe on the nintendo64 classic

I must disagree. The rabbit race rematch in Fungi Forest is, for me, the hardest banana by far.

This is one of my favorite final bosses. There’s something cathartic about humiliating K. Rool after him being all creepy the whole game
