That horrible jiggy where you had to go through that hellish engine room , turn off the fans at the back of the ship and get through the engine room and back to the jiggy in a certain amount of time cost me more than one game over.
Me too its most probably the hardest jiggy to catch in the entire game due to the clumsy controls and the very bad angel of view what you couldn't adjust

All the molecules in my body have been replaced since I last played this game. But I still remember little details. I even remember the fear I felt whenever I saw that freaking shark.
Brother, that shark traumatized me and I was afraid to traverse water in video games ever since.
I originally thought that one bite would prove fatal.
But it can be killed thankfully and it feels so satisfying :)

I HATED Rusty Bucket Bay when I was a kid. I died so many times trying to get through the fans.
Oceanleighside I found it helps if you use the gold feather move as you jump through the fans. If you hit the fans, it won't throw you as far and you won't take damage.
Or use the switches to shut them off...

This got to be the hardest level in the game. I died like 5 times trying to get through the fans. This level is hell to begin with.
That's why i got all the notes in the engine room first and got the rest afterwards

This level was the hardest for me. That part with the giant fans was difficult.
You can actually get to the jiggie in gruntys eye by jumping from the hat and landing on the nose. Much easier and quicker.

I thought that the water in Clanker's cavern was nasty but the water in this world is even worse, much like Grunty industries a rundown dump that has staff who likely don't get paid enough to maintain it. Actually, I don't think Gruntilda pays them to begin with, so there's that.
I use to wonder what was the most nerve wracking thing in my life. But watching this madman blitz through the engine room, propellors and timer whilst stopping to collect stuff AT THE END of the level take the cake.

This was my favorite level when I was a child, and it still is today. When we were kids, my sister always used to tease me and tell I was out of my mind for liking it. Now the internet tells me I'm out of my mind for liking it, lol.
This level and this video are the very reason I know Banjo kazooie exists, so, this is my favorite level too.

This level was the demise of my childhood. Took me months to accomplish it, with multiple anxiety attacks.
Lucky it only took you months. It took me years as a kid 😅😅 we remember this level for the wrong reasons.

Wait... how do they run up the hill, enter the cave, and suddenly find themselves immersed in water? Wouldn't the water have flooded into the main chamber...? I don't remember thinking this much about the logic 20 years ago. :)

Collecting all the notes/jiggies in this level took me years as a kid 😅😅 I remember accidentally breaking the window and finding the everything missing. Can’t even tell you how crazy this world drove me lol

I don't know if you know this or not, but I believe you can input all the cheats at once by spelling everything out first then putting the last "s" in and it should activated all 3 at once.
This game is amazing, Im going to beat it for the first time on the N64 very soon! Also that note at 12:04 is so hidden lol, I would have never found it without this guide XD
you know, you can enter rusty bucket bay without flooding it completely. After hitting the first water switch instead of hitting the second one, go to the room with the mad monster mansion puzzle and break open the cage door. walk up the alcave and your at the rusty bucket bay puzzle.
So that's what that's for :D

I look back amazed that I 100% this game when I was a kid. It too ages but I did it. Same with Mario kart 64, super smash and Mario 64.

2 Interesting Questions regarding the 2 Grille Chompas at 1:40:
1. Do the Grille Chompas near the Rusty Bucket Bay entrance show up if one DOES NOT visit Clanker's Cavern?
2. After the water level rises a second time @ 2:04, the Grille Chompas do not attack you if you swim near their holes because they have drowned in the process?

Bro the pipes scared the crap outta me, when I went in and I thought you had to go in, I went in and I would get jumpscared
At the start of the video you can Ratatat Rap with Kazooie's beak to break the glass and get the Jiggy after jumping down from the Grunty statue hat brim after jumping across from the sloping ledge instead of hitting the switch getting to the fly pad in time and ramming it with Kazooie's Beak Buster, saves time and feathers. Didn't know there was an extra life at the top of the water shed in Rusty by the way.
Is the code for the steam pipes (the 312111 code) told to you anywhere?? Cuz I've never found the code anywhere. Always had to just use trial and error. A lot. Of. Error.

I got 95 notes and died in the oven room.
also i think the fall version of click clock wood is harder than rusty bucket bay; i didn't try the engine room enough times to think otherwise
the reasons why i think so are-
1. trying to get up the tree in the center of the world is annoying to do after falling off by messing up like pressing A too late: after you walked off the edge of a platform and so you just flap kazooie's wings and then fall down to the lower level where you will likely get eaten by a wall bird if you aren't careful
2. there is a buzzbomb near the wood cabin around halfway up the tree and chances are good he will charge into you and knock you off the wooden platforms
3. when i was playing it for the first time when i was looking for the switches to open each season of the world, i used the wonderwing move to get the extra life held by snarebear somewhere below the wood cabin and i accidentally ran over the edge of the branch
4. choosing not to break open bee nests may also be why because they are everywhere for a reason: energy/life and i originally thought since the bee nest in mumbo's mountain said not to break him he means there are bees inside him that will attack if i break open a nest

Rusty Bucket Bay my favorite levels close to treasure trove cove and witchy world in tooie. I found it easy even the engine room wasn't hard and very memorable stage for me.

I found interesting how you didn't go first to the hellish blades jiggy, It was horrible having almost all jiggies and having to try again because of that damn jiggy, than I started going always to that one first
i stay out of the oily water in this world as much as possible since having air drained even at the surface of the water and having it drained twice as fast when underwater in it is annoying imo

This is one of my all-time favorite worlds in the Banjoe-Kazooie/Banjoe-Tooie Franchise. I loved this place even though it was hard.
It looks so realistic for this game
I don't know if it's real, but I remember that I was little and in my innocence I just swam around the anchor to try to save the dolphin, and I remember that I collided with the anchor and the dolphin disappeared, being a little child, that was terrifying and a horrible shame to have been able to save him.
