    Thanks for this video especially the advice at the beginning. This really helps round out the beginners checklist.
    - Just get out there and do it
    - Start with local / state parks to shakedown gear camping stuff.
    - Use off road parks to learn rig / offroad capabilities in "controlled" environment.
    - Explore
    - Have fun!

    Good luck with it....my POS Gladiator just stranded me in hot springs. First road trip in it, up from Houston (7 hr drive) and Jeep throws misfire, O2 sensor codes and has to be towed to dealer. I now get to Uber an hour to little rock to try and find a flight to Houston and leave my jeep in Arkansas. Fun times...

    Just amazing trails and looks like everyone enjoyed each other's company. Seeing her WK2 on those trails put a big smile on my face because I'm getting closer to prep to get mine trail ready. Thanks for everything you both do.

    Great video. I have damaged more parts at Hot Springs Off Road Park than I care to mention. We rarely damage anything but paint in the National Forest.
    Cara did much better than expected. I mean her rig did well because she is a very good driver, wheeler!

    Matt, our group just got back from Moab. We had a air suspension TrailHawk with us, and it was miserable for them trying to keep up with us. I wouldn't take it on anything harder than Fins & Things. It will take on body damage there for sure.
    Hells Revenge got a lot harder this year. We snapped 3 axles, on built rigs on it. LOL Heck, the entrance alone is a challenge. The exit section is crazy now too.
    We did the harder trails, and all the obstacles as well. Overall for a week, we snapped 5 axles, both solid and CV. Bring Spares!!! Parts stores did not stock them, and we had to have them over nighted. Oh.... Choose one spotter, and Trusting that spotter word for word, hand signal for hand signal, is a must. I had 80% of a front tire off a 300 foot cliff edge, just to make the turn over an obstacle on Hamburger Hill.

    Next time you wheel the Grand Cherokee, take the lower front facia off - it comes off with seven quarter-turn fasteners and can be removed by hand. I just got a Trailhawk about 6 months ago and I've got the Off-Road Animal front-end and winch kit going on in this next week.
    And 3-wheeling is what they do, but they do a surprisingly good job for what they are!

    Your friends need to learn the art of low tire pressure - 20 is not low. The 2dr JK should be running on 12 to 14psi. Plus they need to relax, calm down and listen to what the spotter is saying. Great trails, I can't wait to do them when I go out that way next year.

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who said anything about 20? We were all aired down to 12-15. This was the first time some of them had ever done this. I think they all did great!!

    • @toddhoffmaster6057
      @toddhoffmaster6057 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@OzarkOverlandAdventures in the video it looks like the tires are not bulging like mine used to do at 14psi. I have seen many owners think that airing down to 20 psi is airing down. I am more of a rock crawler than overlander and soft ride with no bouncing is what I look at in videos. That looks like a fun off road park to camp at for the weekend.
