The best of the best is the lemm3000pl Vortex the beast under the mobile antennes i got these .
Great review. Suprising they all perform about the same.
Check your Power lead wires, move up to a better gauge wire because you’re a radio is dimming every time you modulate
Good job. I’m very surprised that cobra 200 is still working they talked good when they worked. I bunch of guys up my way bought them and they all shit the bed I got 2 years from mine until it crapped out. I use the Sirio performer 5000. Been great so far
Yes my Cobra still works. A friend tuned it and it works great now. The frequency counter is a bit off sometimes and the night watch doesn’t work, but I am ok with that.
Sirio makes good antennas yes. They are very popular in Europe. Thank you for watching my friend

IF you're testing for performance (distance vs signal) you should be testing on am where you have a carrier you can see sitting still and then with modulation, making sure you're running at 4 watts.. Sideband the signal is constantly bouncing with no real way of seeing the results very accurately as it can be effected by how loud you speak and sideband supplies a lot more wattage.. Also you're radio is starving for power as the lights were dimming when keyed up.

Hi, very interesting video. May I ask what your roof rack is made of ?? It looks like aluminum does it azffect the mass plan ?
It is metal. I made it myself. I cut it and bend it to shape. I made 2, one on each side. One with a female so239 and one for the 3/8 bolt. The rack is aluminum, but I run a wire on each side for ground.
