I hear him sometimes, always wondered who the famous guy was doing all of that stuff, the 1111 thing didnt bother me, but the baby crying sound drove me up one wall and down the other 🥴😆, some of the guys on there making comments about the 111 guy would get me to laughing so much that I couldn't talk on the radio 😂.

I had one they are nice but the sad shame with these is once the nightwatch panel goes bad you can’t repair or replace it Otherwise it’s a very capable radio

I hear that dude up here in Roseburg, Oregon on my base station. Totally annoying piece of crap he is. 38 Lower Sideband suck, but this 11111 dude is all over the place from 27.365 all the way to 27.450 Mhz.

Not sure exactly where the 111 goof lives but it's West coast in either Arizona, New Mexico or Texas. He is 100% for sure not in the East or North as we only hear him in Ontario Canada when we can hear skip from the South West only. If there is not skip form that part of the USA we don't hear him. There are times I hear Florida & he is not heard so he is not in the South or East for sure South West. He's not in the North west coast either as when I can hear stations from Washington or BC Canada I can't hear 111 of the USA.

Is this the same 111 guy who plays 111 repeatedly on channel 38lsb

I’m on the east coast and the 111111 guy is only heard when we hear Arizona and New Mexico and I’m not talking about “Phoenix” Tim Hoffman who started the 111 stuff.

Sir you can not compare S meter readings because these are cb radio's they are not calibrated to a science like ham radio's. You can take two of the same radio's out of the box and have different S meter readings because they are CB's. Please be ready to switch back and forth between the radio's instantly because signals change by the second. You need to do a better job at going back and forth instead of changing the setting. Just an awful comparison. Do a better job and have yourself prepared before you start the video.

there is a lot of people which play CB radios in 90s... and for them you will not find any better CB radio than Jackson or ALan 87 ol Lincoln 1. I have all of them and... they are eated by china Superstar SS9900... In terms of AM (we are using it at Poland) I was also driving with President Lincoln 1, Superstar 360FM at car... up to the moment I get Apollo RoadBlues china CB radio... Lincoln, Superstar went go back to garage.... but finally SS9900 relace also Apollo Roadblues. I grew up in Rockland Maine. So many great memories with CB Radio. My Grandfather was into everything Radio. He ran a Gas Station and put up a CB Radio so everyone around could contact him. Lobstermen would call in to the Gas Station. I have some audio of him talking to others on the radio. I will see if I can find them.

Nice video, thanks for that. Here's another important tip: Please check the current consumption of the Quansheng with and without an external speaker with the squelch open (normally ~70 mA). If the current consumption is much higher with an external speaker, the AF power amplifier is at risk. So be sure to measure again.

that is pretty cool! i cant pick up anything on mine unless its overcast then i can pick up some guys down in georgia / florida or new orleans. Drive on 2 400 series highways each day and right past a truck stop. all i get is static

Watch out for that compulsive talker...He has a sex record in Florida and that's why he moved out west..Plenty of truck drivers hate hearing him non stop..I guess not enough complaints to the FCC yet.
