    This looks fabulous. I can't wait to order one - just need to sort out the funds. Is there a plan to develop a control desk with separate throttle and brake, for use with heritage diesels, HSTs etc? I love my AWS button.

    Is it possible to sign up to find out when these controls work with train sim 2.also have you considered having option Al mounts for boxes or can we open and use out own. Installing 1/4 inch camera mount holes? Also can any of the Control boxes be used for any other games? Be a real deal breaker if I could assign buttons to other non trqin sim games like aircraft sim or other games

      Im sure Alan will do a new vid when its done, as it will be a big deal. Currently the units only work in Train Simulators and there are no plans to make it work in anything else yet, but suggestions welcome. you are welcome to open up the boxes and mount them however you wish, its just 4 screws.

      So like adding another option to each of the dropdowns where you could assign a keypress for that button? That could be good.

    Hey Alan
    Been curious to pick this up as a button box / door control panel for a couple different train sims other than TSW and TS20xx. Does the button box come up as a normal joystick interface on windows? I.E. would I be able to use this as an input for 3rd party software to pick up to be able to rebind them myself outside of your teams provided software for it?
    Cheers,
    Kiran

    The door open/close popup does not come up on my TSW2 (which is good!) The cab light also works at some degree, Just the guard buzzer don't work in TSW2. But in all it works well with TSW2 particularly on the LUL bakerloo line as timing is so tight on this route it saves vital seconds! I just can't wait to get my hands on the PBL unit!

    Looks really good and I'm very tempted, particularly when TSW2 has the support for external controllers (although it is clever what's already been done for TSW2 shown here). Can I ask, how long will you release updates for new trains for? (because you obviously can't guarantee to provide updates forever, but at the same time it would be a shame if it was decided in 18 months time not to bother any more). Thanks, and best of luck with it obviously :)

      I think as the collection of hardware grows we will have a clearer picture but I can’t see us stopping anytime soon.

      @@AlanThomsonsim Thanks Alan. I didn't know what DRA was until I saw this. Seems to be our answer to the same question that the Germans solved with the 45 km/h limit when starting out. Definitely want the DRA version of the controller anyway, I love buttons.

    Looks really good but I think I'll need to wait until the craze goes down like the aws box and then wait if they go on sale. Because in my opinion, I think there a tad on the pricey side. I understand material and time and other commitments but it looks really good

      There is not likely to be sales with hardware products, as the margins are very small unlike software.

    • @Tangobaldy
      @Tangobaldy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jackhstproductions649 if you watch the video they are not just buttons. Considering the time spent I doubt they are getting rich of the small profit made. And I'm sure the taxman goner take a chunk too... 20%. For a bespoke well made item they are very cheap. Not like they banging out thousands of them in China with sub quality switches and stinky cheap plastic boxes. I'm sure if you buy and hold one you would go um niceeee

If you don't, then the guy has the right to cover the cost of materials, design, building the thing, packaging it, shipping it, and making a little bit on top. Honestly, it's a fair price for what it is if you want one - if you don't - then exactly like I said, go make your own if you think you can.
