Great pack, great attention to detail! I loved the traction motors at 24:00! I caught you smiling and bobbing your head-so was I! Love that 50 Hz hum!
Literally I caught the detail to the motors too!! They sort of modified the sounds to put that high pitch DC motor noise like a washing machine .

@@flightsimmer9809 True, but I was really talking about the type of product that was released and it being worth the money. No 45 quid for sky and weather type thing. We want locos/trains.
We know alans been waiting for this!!! And so have i . The /6 and /7 are my preffered variations....or were 😢😢😢😢since their gone now !!! RIP to the 317s!! They were likely the fastest accelerating second gen units and were used EVERYWHERE .

7:45 this is why I'd personally prefer testing units in quick-drive rather than pre-set scenarios; amazing to see more of the 317 tho. You know, I've had a similar relationship to the 317 as you, given my local was Audley End before I moved up north. Thus, as a kid, I used to ride those trains a lot when I used to go to London or Cambridge so back then, it was my usual run-of-the-mill like it was for you. Therefore, there's plenty of nostalgia for me with these units.
I've been a 317 fan for about 5 years, and I live in the South London, so I never had them as a childhood unit but when I first set eyes on them it felt like I knew them for my entire life with their similar characteristics to 319s and 455s.
However seeing seeing them related to the 455s , when I first set eyes on the 317s in real life when going Stratford, I instantly did research and watched videos and eventually rode them for fun for the last few years of their existence. I much preffer them to 455s. They look better, sound better, are way faster with acceleration. And I noticed the /6 and /7 variations are louder than the other variations. I can even link you some of my footage of the 317s! Accelerating down here

Also with the doors don’t know if you noticed but they have a slight stop just before they close, I thought that was a nice touch
I didn’t in the video but i did on stream mate the door bounce is a quality touch

Older 317s look similar to the 455s...
They share the same bodyshell.
What happened to the controllers on ATS?
Our contract with our manufacturer expired our new in house range will be available hopefully from October
how to use the new ats launcher when i download the OHLE pack from the launcher it shows a file with random numbers for example 10652523523 even when i try to copy and paste the assets into my railworks it dosent work please i need help
You don’t need to touch the download at all the launcher downloads and installs the products for you mate hope this helps any more questions please use the contact us section of the website.
