I grad Kailua High with Cyril… My mom always liked Bla more than me… honest… parents would travel back to Kailua to see my Aunt… Unk brought natural-gas carburetors to Hawai’ian Gas, late 1960s. The whole Pahinui Family was so Amazing… delightful! So much music lost. So much Joy in their sonic memories… thanks guys… never said it enough as a kid. Riley Jackson

Look at Bla when he looks at Cyril....you could almost see that little boy who loved to play jokes....I wonder what he's thinking? I play this over and over. @hawaiidoves No. Bla plays only for charitable projects that he is interested in and is working on his legacy recording. Cyril plays a regular gig at Kani Ka Pila Grill in Waikiki and travels all over the west coast playing and teaching, He also teaches at UH Hilo and Bishop Museum. Martin plays every Sunday evening at the Waikiki Mariott with Geo Kuo & Aaron Mahi.
