Great reaction Agnes, Su metal is gift to all of us. When you get to Ijime Dame Zetai I recommend Sonosphere 2014 UK where BM played out of Asia for the first time and Blew the minds of 50 thousand attendees that were looking confused at 3 small japanese girls ( the girls were afraid the heavy metal fans would be hostile to them but after 5 songs they were asking for more ) rocking hard as all the other bands on the festival. Babymetal considers UK as their second home because of that concert. P.S. the music video is a blast as well, my personal favorite.
Su-metal is an amazing singer and performer. What else can we say. Her performance at Budokan Black Night 2014 is amazing,, 16 years old, but also ready a perfect performer. Metal goddess indeed. 🙂

I'm a sucker for waltzes. Apart from that, waltzes are often used for a Danse Mort, a dance with death. So using this musical genre for the nightmare story makes sense. Also, a Rondo is a musical structure that keeps repeating, so it fits a repeating nightmare perfectly. And again Su has shown us her increadible stage presence. Nice reaction. Sasuka is having a unending nightmare where she is being chased by a faceless entity and no matter how hard she tries to escape she can not, realizing that she is doomed she begs that before it takes her life it shows its face to her. I believe this song is about fighting depression, perhaps what she is running from is herself.

If not a real monster, than at least someone pretending to be one in order to terrify children into behaving. Fun times! Kawaii Metal! : ) If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example. They performed this song quite a bit in 2017, but not since. The last time I saw this one was in Chula Vista, California when BABYMETAL were on tour opening for Korn. BTW, the Kami Band members have changed over time. The guys supporting them now started on the US tour in 2019, and have been the only backing band since late January of 2023. They're all Americans.
In case you're interested. BM have just announced an arena tour, UK and EU and are playing the O2 arena on 30/05 next year but tickets are going fast.❤
⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 There are two more solo songs from Su; 'Amore' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow'. "Rondo" is a great answer to anyone who says that BABYMETAL aren't really metal. : ) And it has the darkest lyrics of any BABYMETAL song. Su has a penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for heavy music. Without having to boost her volume she can still be heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars.
i think Moa & Yui had been sent off to bed before Su sang this scary song. No rain, no rainbow (Legend S hiroshima) is my fav solo song for Su, when you do it have tissues ready. i think its A-Kat-ski (u silent). They are teenage girls who are trapped in the scary music industry, and it is difficult for them to get out of this nightmare. unless they end the story themselves, but it's much scarier than the nightmare, so they keep going deeper even though it's scary
I believe the words you're looking for to describe Su are stage presence and crowd control. I have said it a thousand times and I will say it a thousand more. I have not seen the amount of command, presence, and control over a crowd since Freddie Mercury of Queen...until I discovered BABYMETAL. Su has the exact same abilities as Freddie, only she had them at 14/15 when Freddie developed them (quickly) in his early-20's.

You know it's kind of funny. I'm looking at your poster on the wall behind that says, "Yeah, I do dance awkwardsly, and I'm having more fun than you", and I can't help but think of Su-Metal when she was still in Sakura Gakuin. If you haven't seen any of those videos, I HIGHLY recommend you check them out, because Su WAS very, VERY awkward when she danced back then. You didn't need to know who she was and you'd be able to pick her out because she was very awkward in her dance movement. She wasn't comfortable in her body I don't think and it kind of showed. So although I don't like Taylor Swift at all, that statement rings very true in my mind when I think about Su-Metal.
The "doll on the string" moment is where she jumps into a fountain to hide and is floating in the water. The classic version of this is from Legend 1997, but I actually prefer this version. Thank you, and yes, many of our souls are already lost to BM. Just to note that the timing of the track is incredibly complex going from 4/3 , 6/4 7/4 5/4 and round and round. Su then sings partly syncopated across this complex time signature - incredibly complex piece of music and why it sounds so disturbing and frightening.
Regarding Headbanger, when you eventually get around to seeing Momobanger (a specific version of Headbanger), know that there is a very bad "compilation" video out there. For Momobanger, a good version of it is on the "For the Fox God" channel called "Momoko ver". Obviously you should watch Headbanger in its original form first.

Kid, you really need to learn how to adjust your microphone levels. There is a TON of white noise coming through and it's extremely distracting. If you can't do basic things like set your audio levels correctly, then get off TH-cam.

BTW, the Kami Band members have changed over time.
The guys supporting them now started on the US tour in 2019, and have been the only backing band since late January of 2023.

Su has a penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for heavy music.
Without having to boost her volume she can still be heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars.

i think Moa & Yui had been sent off to bed before Su sang this scary song. No rain, no rainbow (Legend S hiroshima) is my fav solo song for Su, when you do it have tissues ready. i think its A-Kat-ski (u silent). this is a darkest Babymetal song. This song can be performed by classic metal bands. Because its really dark.
They are teenage girls who are trapped in the scary music industry, and it is difficult for them to get out of this nightmare. unless they end the story themselves, but it's much scarier than the nightmare, so they keep going deeper even though it's scary
I believe the words you're looking for to describe Su are stage presence and crowd control. I have said it a thousand times and I will say it a thousand more. I have not seen the amount of command, presence, and control over a crowd since Freddie Mercury of Queen...until I discovered BABYMETAL. Su has the exact same abilities as Freddie, only she had them at 14/15 when Freddie developed them (quickly) in his early-20's.

For the next time with Head banger make sure to pick the “Legend of 1997” version, that’s the name of the concert to celebrate Su’s 16th birthday, it took place in the year 2013, but there’s something else, it is a bit old performance so the quality isn’t perfect when they recorded it, but there’s a video here in TH-cam that enhanced the video and audio quality to 8k so I HIGHLY recommend you to pick that video to react to and you’ll enjoy the quality of the performance the audio and everything at the maximum possible potential 🔥🦊🤘

You know it's kind of funny. I'm looking at your poster on the wall behind that says, "Yeah, I do dance awkwardsly, and I'm having more fun than you", and I can't help but think of Su-Metal when she was still in Sakura Gakuin. If you haven't seen any of those videos, I HIGHLY recommend you check them out, because Su WAS very, VERY awkward when she danced back then. You didn't need to know who she was and you'd be able to pick her out because she was very awkward in her dance movement. She wasn't comfortable in her body I don't think and it kind of showed. So although I don't like Taylor Swift at all, that statement rings very true in my mind when I think about Su-Metal.
The "doll on the string" moment is where she jumps into a fountain to hide and is floating in the water.
The classic version of this is from Legend 1997, but I actually prefer this version.

Just to note that the timing of the track is incredibly complex going from 4/3 , 6/4 7/4 5/4 and round and round. Su then sings partly syncopated across this complex time signature - incredibly complex piece of music and why it sounds so disturbing and frightening.
Regarding Headbanger, when you eventually get around to seeing Momobanger (a specific version of Headbanger), know that there is a very bad "compilation" video out there. For Momobanger, a good version of it is on the "For the Fox God" channel called "Momoko ver". Obviously you should watch Headbanger in its original form first.

Kid, you really need to learn how to adjust your microphone levels. There is a TON of white noise coming through and it's extremely distracting. If you can't do basic things like set your audio levels correctly, then get off TH-cam.
