Taylor Johnson wil be 50 by the time another Bond film gets the go ahead.
This may be true 😃
Than he be too old to play bond than lol 😂
@@alexraitano7599 not really, how old was daniel craig as james bond lol

@@treadstone1970 Daniel craig looked old even in his youth lol
Aaron has said in the past, like 15 years ago that he wouldn’t want to be James Bond. He also said recently that he doesn’t want to do one action movie after another. I don't think he would be able to handle the press attention. The only way I could see him accept the role is if Nolan is directing, as he said that he wants to work with him again. It seems like his team are going along with the speculation for PR purposes.
The only time a ‘new’ James Bond was cast without the director being involved was when David Picker at UA got Connery to sign for DAF 🤓
Bet Connery didn't leak it on instagram
Another example of a director having a say in casting is Peter Hunt and OHMSS. There are photos of him working with Bond contenders during their screen tests.
I totally agree with this . I do not think any progress is being made on even looking at. possible actors for the James Bond role. All that is really happening is names of whatever popular actors are available at the moment are being listed on betting sites. The producers seem to be tired and uninterested in making a new Bond film anytime soon.
James Bond fans are getting frustrated because the constant delay keeps putting a new. 007 adventure further and further away. Every year passing with nothing going on adds at least another two or three years of seeing a completed movie. Thanks for the informative insightful
videos about the progress but at this point I think fans are feeling 007 may be a thing of the past.
please dont make james bond gay!!
I think that's a spot on assessment.
I’ve wondered if the rumours about Taylor Johnson is a way to try luring in Nolan or David Leitch in for 26 since both like to reuse actors & ATJ has worked well with both in the past.
It's an interesting idea but I doubt it. Nolan would want full creative control, which is at direct odds with how Eon works. Nolan is exceedingly unlikely to direct Bond IMO
@@007dossier That's what I was going to say. Nolan doesn't need to be lured in. He needs to be given total creative control. If EON was willing to do that I can 100% guarantee Nolan would take the gig. But EON won't do that.
My guess is finding an actor who'll sign a multi-picture contract. Such as, a 3 picture deal with an option for a 4th. Chances are their looking for a semi-unknown actor in his mid-30's, who'll sign on the dotted line and EON gets him on the cheap.
Almost certain
He definitely has the most unique look from all the other contenders. 1:12 but yeah your right though
Likely because girls keep pushing the idea but I hope not. I actually thought Craig was going to be the last.
While they search for a new long term Bond, give us a one off with Henry Cavill starring and Tarantino directing.
I think that's an interesting idea
Henry Cavil yes but I'll take a pass on the nonsensical and unrealistic blood splatter that would 100% be in those movies with Tarentino directing.
Agree with everything you say.
I dont think soo toooo,,,,it will be rom cruise
I dunno about this assessment.
As far as I can remember the Directors had input but not the final say in the casting choice. Originally Brosnan was selected for The Living Daylights, but he couldn’t get out of his contract on Remington Steele. The show’s producers offered to share him with EON. But they declined and Timothy Dalton was cast as bond and I believe it was Cubby Broccoli who had the final word on that decision.
In short the choice is made by a committee, that being The Studio, Producers and Director. The Broccoli’s have always had the strongest influence on the choice.
I think Arron Taylor Johnson is a curious choice actually, at first I wasn’t sure. Then I saw him in Bullet Train where you can see how versatile he really is.
I don't think you're disagreeing with me here. I said the director is always involved in the casting process, NOT that the director decides.
@@007dossier
With that clarification/reiteration, I don’t disagree with you. Initially I wasn’t sure. Maybe it was just my way of interpreting your case, particularly in regard to the Martin Campbell portion with Craig and Brosnan’s casting.
finding another to match Daniel Craig is hard. we'll hv to wait another decade :(
They will make it lame and gay
He seems to have all the necessary elements but he also seems too pretty. Like he’s never been punched in the face or something.
Henry Cavill or Theo James.
I believe this will be the most disappointing character assignment
I think it’s the case
A script needs to be written first before a director can be hired. Nobody has been hired to write script yet. Even when that does happen, it would take a full year for a writer to produce a decent enough draft of the script for EON to then be able to show to prospective directors.
We may not know if work has been done on the script, just because no screenwriter has been announced doesn't mean no one has been hired. Purvis and Wade for instance.
@@007dossier The appointment of a writer will always generate a press announcement.
@@olybeddard3506 Not always. For example Purvis and Wade worked on Bond 25 unannounced, then Danny Boyle and John Hodge were announced as director and writer.
John Hughes would write a complete movie script in a weekend. It doesn't take a year.
Beyonce would make a good 007
Wow
Henry Cavil.
I know a lot of people would like to see him as Bond but really his time has passed.
Well 007 died from Timothy walked away from the roll
Please NO! He has the voice of a prepubescent boy; that is NOT Bond.
Yes actors can modulate their voices but that would come off as contrived.
Personally, I hope he never is. Not my choice I'm afraid.
I'm not sure I've seen seen him in anything
@007dossier I mainly know him from, Kick Ass and Bullet Train. Theo James of The Gentlemman and The White Lotus I think would be good, along with Henry Cavill and Tom Hiiddleston.
@@steveb4012Wouldn’t like to see Theo James either. Would like to see someone within the range of Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig in terms of the overall look. To me they looked and played the part well. Only that Dalton & Brosnan lacked the writing/script and directors that Daniel was given.
@SurfyXX my initial hope was Henry Cavill or maybe Tom Hiddleston. I think age is going to be against these two as EON is imitating continental Drift. I'd prefer Theo over ATJ but not my first choice by any means. Craig is going to be very hard to replace.
@@steveb4012 I also did have Hiddleston in mind a while back and I agree, for now we shall enjoy this weird ride of who’s next 😂👊
Yeah, I don't really see it either, to me Henry Cavil is the obvious choice
He's probably too old to be considered as they war a 10 year commitment.
If they cast him then Bond is Dead nobody wants to see a wimpy beta soy boy as 007 they should have made a deal with Henry Cavill before Craig did No Time To Die but they are stupid. Henry is the perfect new Bond he's by far the best choice.
Why is ATJ a "beta soy boy"? Is it because he's married to an older woman? Is that literally all it is? Seriously people need to get over it. Who he marries is his business.
@@danielscott8180 He's a wimpy guy. Bond needs to be an Alpha Male a tough guy like Sean Connery or Daniel Craig. Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were good but not nearly as tough as Sean or Daniel were. Henry Cavill is the best actor to play the new 007 they are crazy if they don't want Henry he would be perfect.
@@moviesgalore9947 Whats the evidence he's wimpy. Was great in Bullet train. Looks jacked and tough in Kraven the Hunter. Were Roger Moore and Brosnan tough Alpha males? The ship has sailed on Cavill. Too old now. Eon quite rightly wants a younger actor to make films with over 15 years.
He is not wimpy, he is very versatile. He was terrifying as a psychopathic grapist and murderer in Nocturnal Animals and he was good as killer in Bullet Train.
