This channel is so awesome. Great tutorials, easy learning and everything is perfectly explained. I wish to watch more printing vids. Thank you Mike !!
I truly appreciate those kind words. Thank you so much. The plan is to take the money I've been making on TH-cam and Patreon to finance some at home equipment to do even more videos related to print. I'm just about at that range where I'm pulling in enough money. Hopefully soon. Thanks again for watching, I appreciate it.
Mike... you've done it again. I've said this on a previous video, but you legit read my mind, man. I literally Just wanted to learn adobe illustrator variable data and you've come up with a video breaking down Everything, as you always do 💯. Man, you are a legend, Mike 💯🔥 The amount of detail you know about all of this... Man 👏
You're welcome. I'm just happy that folks are getting good use out of these videos. I know when I first started in this industry, videos like this didn't exist. I'll have another one on doing this in Photoshop in the coming days, stay tuned.
@@miketheprintman Yea man, you're definitely giving us a lot of value, Mike. Actually, you've convinced me to never touch Adobe Illustrator VDP and just use InDesign's VDP 😂. It's great that you're sharing your knowledge. On a different youtube account I think I'm gonna start sharing what I've learnt also. Watching people like Y'all. Man, I'll watch a tonne of your other stuff also, that's awesome :)
@@wasdatheg1885 I appreciate those kind words, and yes, I encourage you to make videos of your own. It's great to share information and build the community of prepress graphic designers. I already subscribed to you for when you start making them. Good luck.
Thanks. Yeah, I still haven't played around with all the new AI features, but I know Illustrator is kind of a pain when it comes to variable data. I normally use InDesign, which handles it much easier. Thanks for watching.
Honestly, that's why I use InDesign for most of my variable data work. I hate doing it this way because it's very tedious. InDesign handles VDP so much better through Data Merge. However, I know a lot of people will find this info useful, so I went ahead and did a video on it. Thanks for watching.
Yep. We certainly are glad you publish these videos. Than you again. FusionPro is nice if you get into very complex vdp...that is if you can stomach that price as well.
@@raulruiz598 That's the hard part right. A lot of shops are in that in-between part of their growth; not yet big enough to afford the expensive software, but still needing it at the same time. That's the tough part.
Excellent, thanks for posting, that's really interesting and useful.
No problem. Thanks for watching.

I need to make time for this stuff. Or adobe illustrator in general, especially with all the new ai tools. Good vid mike

Thank you, could you please do variable on photoshop also
I will be doing one in the near future. Please stay subscribed and have your notifications on for all future videos. Thanks for watching.
I’ve done this before and it’s a pain. You would imagine that Adobe at this point would create some type of UI for VDP.
