- Are all of my jacket pockets full of rocks? Yes, yes they are. Are they particularly interesting rocks? Probably not too most people, but I love them.
In this video I used an assortment of my handmade watercolors for my first layer, and then used watercolor crayons for the rest!
p.s. I'm sooo close to finishing the ACOTAR book series, any recommendations for what I should read next?

Hi. This was fun practice. I did 3 paintings of rocks. The first two had some issues, but the 3rd one I made into a card. I like repeating the process. Thanks again.
That's amazing! 🥰
I adore your little prompts, especially when feeling drained and uninspired.
Thank you for sharing.🖤
I'm so happy to help!
Very clever. I’ve been enjoying the content you share. Just magical 🌟
This idea is so good! I love that you used an older painting as inspiration. Going to give this one a try. 😊
Have fun!
I love this. I want to make a dress pattern of this for one of my characters!
Ooo that sounds lovely!
Hadn’t picked up a paintbrush in over a week, and I immediately got out my paints and started working on this right after I saw it. Thank you!!
That makes me so happy!
@@RebelUnicornCrafts It was so fun that I’m thinking of doing another version but with traced bubbles on a more colorful background!
Just did this exercise and it was so much fun watching it come to life. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
Oh I'm so happy you enjoyed doing it!
Ohhh I love this! I'll be trying these at some stage. Also now you have mentioned watercolour crayons... those are going my must get list. 😂
😂😂😂 you can definitely do this without the crayons, but I do think they're fun!
Success looks great!
Oh that’s lovely! ❤I’m totally trying that.
You should! 🪨 💧
Very nice I love it it is beatiful 😊😊
I just did this and love it. I hated it half way through but kept going and it turned out nice!
Yessss! 🥳 I'm glad you kept going. Sometimes paintings just go through an 'ugly' phase.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts they sure do. You should see my portraits. Lol
Wonderful, I love it, such a good tutorial ☺☺☺
Glad you liked it!
Wow!… love it !😃❤️
Thank you! 😊
Love this! thank you so much!
Nice idea. We use those exacts crayons as facepaint.
Interesting. I'd be worried about using art crayons on my skin because some of the pigments can be unsafe for skin. I'm not sure what pigments are used in these though.
Ohhhh LOVE this idea! 🌟 Thank you for sharing! ~ Cobs. (UK)
Great tutorial I love Caran D'ache crayons.
Just BEAUTIFUL! Thank You!
I love those crayons!!
😂 don’t take it for granite, turn it into rocks. That’s what I heard and no one can convince me otherwise.
I like this exercise!!
I heard that, too!
Hehe you got it right!
What white gel pen do you use? I can’t find one I like and yours seems to work great.
I've been using the white one in this set. Not sure if it's the 'Japan import' part that's been key, but I've been very happy with it tinyurl.com/favegelpen
@@RebelUnicornCrafts TYSVM! I just ordered a set.
I love your channel and started painting a month ago. I was just curious is it possible that when you spray watercolors or other mediums, do they ever get moldy?
You do want to leave watercolors out to dry before you close them. I haven't had mine get moldy, but it is definitely possible.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts thank you so much for replying.
What if I just use watercolour for the in-betweens? Wouldn't it just pick up the colour that I just laid?
If it's dry you won't pick up the color you just put down.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts Ooooh alrighty. Will definitely try this one out then. Thank you!
