- I got a little behind so I am combining two weeks into one! These are reposts from elsewhere that were just a bit too long to be able to be shown here, but I don't want you to miss out!
In these we go over tube paints, the good the bad, and how to use. We also talk all things tape, what kind of tape, why we use tape, how to remove it, and even do an exercise to practice with tape!
If you're new to watercolor these lessons will help give you a leg up!

the paint pallet comes out easily . there are tabs on each side just grab those and pull it out , theres mare mixing space underneath it

Thank you 😊. And I grabbed it from either Michael's or Blick for like $2. Check your local art supply store or I'm sure Amazon also has a bunch of size options too.
As someone who has a big collection of washi tapes I find it aggravating to see others use them for their art just so that they throw them away. A lot of washi tapes are designed for decorative purposes, hence why they have different designs on them. Not to mention that not all washi tapes have the same adhesive, so some are either too strong, to weak, or just right. Unless you save those used washi tape scraps for something else, just buy the artists tape for your art and let stationary lovers like me actually use washi tape. Otherwise it's just wasteful.
I don't mean this to be a full on rant and I know it's trivial, but I've been seeing this for awhile and it's driving me crazy.
its so cheap people use it in many ways . you need to see the bigger picture .
@@puffyjo IT'S WASTEFUL. You clearly didn't read my whole comment and masking/artists tape is not expensive. That just sounds like an excuse.🙄
@@pinkkrystalz7610 holy cow relax . I did so read it all . I just know if you buy something use it and not all washi tape is pretty . well its like buying artist quality paints or pencils to color in a coloring book its wasteful but no one sees it that way
@@puffyjo If not all washi tapes are pretty then why buy them? Also, no, it's not like using high quality paints in a coloring book because with the paints you're just using them, but with washi tapes you're just throwing them away instead of using them for decorating and scrapbooking. If it's "not wasteful," then save the scraps for something else or don't buy them at all and spend on good quality masking/artists tape. You're logic doesn't make any sense, so don't tell me to calm down and stop arguing with me.😑
