I've been looking forward to a new video each week for the past month since being recommended the first Singapore vlog, it's bittersweet that it went by so quickly! I hope the both of you enjoyed your time here as much as I enjoyed watching it. Do come back to Singapore again soon!
You guys are cool and chill couple and tourists. Sincerely hope it’s been. Please do come back, and discover some of our many non-touristy bits (interesting cultural and historical), and more.
Wheelock Place, Ion, Wisma Atria and Takashimaya are connected. You can literally shop for 2 days without seeing the sun and still not finish all the shops.
I look forward to your video every week. I am an old folk and I get motion sickness when you move your camera quickly. I try not to stare at your video so I don't feel sick. But I enjoy watching your video regardless.I like both you and Kim's vibe. It's interesting to learn about different places. It gives me ideas on where to go travel. Keep up the good work. You will reach 10K subscribers in no time.
Thanks! Yeah I totally agree I hate watching it as well. Its's the mechanical gimbal rotation from switching the camera from forward to back facing. Unfortunately I can't control the speed. I try to edit it out as much as possible but sometimes it's right in the middle of something happening. I'm very aware of it and trying to be mindful while filming but when we're in a different country I forget often. Appreciate you 🙏
The places you mentioned are not exactly what are called "Neighborhoods". These are institutions and commercial areas. Singapore have laws against touting, which in the past annoyed many people which is why the shopkeepers won't harass the folks walking by or taking a look at the merchandise.
That's cool! It doesn making the shopping experience a lot more pleasant and enjoyable. I feel like I'm in fight or flight mode when I'm walking around markets in most countries.
@@TravelWithNala thats like 23 celcius. my niece is borrowing winter coats from me for her trip in mid november… i was scratching my head because i thought Vietnam is hot 🥵
Yeah mixed it up. Singapore became a sovereign nation in the 60s. Raffles founded the port city of Singapore back in the 1800. A very rich and complicated history.
Honestly it’s doesn’t sound so crazy. I really think we would enjoy life here and it’s so dog friendly for Nala. It’s so close to Vietnam so I’ll look a lot more at Singapore for business and hopefully go there more often.
Great video! You should visit Malaysia. Same food as Singapore but with much better prices. I’m glad you got to see the bottom 1/2 of the jewel. You missed it in your first SG video. Who watched Nala for you?
I wish we could have spent more time at the Jewel. It's really an all day thing. My brother was in Da Nang at the time watching Nala. Malaysia is definitely on the list
Those spiral staircase are poop staircase. Literally stairways to shit. Back in the day before modern toilets, poop collectors go up those staircase to collect buckets full of poop and dispose it off.
I’m Singaporean and I don’t even want to go to hawker centre.. like this TH-camr, I prefer to go to the mall’s food court with air-con. I find that hot weather affects one’s appetite. I lose my appetite if it’s too hot.

Thanks! It was such a short trip and it really did fly by but we're just a short hop away in Vietnam so we'll be back soon
Omg I can't believe y'all are in my country 🇸🇬❤
Great country to be in. I’m jealous!
@@TravelWithNala hahaha 🤣
Enjoyed watching your Singapore trip! 😊
Thanks! We loved it here!

Thanks! This was such a short trip we had to hit all the touristy spots first but we’ll be back and experience more of the soul of the country

That’s actually so insanely cool
Take MRT to Esplanade and stay another week underground going to Raffles City, Suntec City, Marina Bay, and Funan Mall lol
Very nice video, thanks for sharing Haji lane Singapore view, have a good day? Have you ever been Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam?
Thanks! Kim has been to HCMC many times but I have never been there. I'll be visiting soon
@ oh you are interested 😁, have great day
Welcome to Singapore! Hope you enjoy your stay here!
Thanks! We enjoyed it so much
Orchard Road will look very beautiful during Christmas 😊

Welcome ❤ to Singapore 🇸🇬
Enjoy your videos!
Thanks! We enjoyed making it
Awesome❤
CHIJMES is beautiful
Nala was so happy when you guys were back 🤩, was she left alone?
Family was watching her. She's so funny because she's quiet even when she's excited haha
Try Lao Pa Sat for the their famous Satays and can try chilli crabs at coffee shop is cheaper and try the Song Fa Ba Kut Teh (Meat Bone Tea)
ohhh meat bone tea sounds amazing
The correct way to pronounce Bugis is Bu-Geese
Omg who did no one in there correct me the whole time 😂. My cousins and all my friends none of them corrected me!!
Actually Bu-gis hard g, but short I.
Was driving me crazy, thanks for the correction.
In case you're curious and follows abit of DC/Batman stuffs, the building in the centre @ 15:38 is known in SG as the 'Gotham Building'
Oh that’s cool thanks!
“window shopping”. gotcha 😂
When she says window shopping it’s a trap
Go to the Kool Building for a drink 🥃 very kool plus good place to take photos
I’ll add that to the list for the next trip
You're dog is so cuteee
Nala is the best 🐶
Hope you enjoyed your stay here! Come again or maybe migrate here to settle down!
I'll be back for sure. Looking for events, conferences, etc as an excuse to come back soon.
Please visit Orchard underground mall just below C K Tang & Lucky Plaza to Cuppage Plaza 😮
good tip! We walked through but didn't get it on camera
I was wondering what Nala did while you were away? Did Kim's family care for her? Thx for sharing Singapore with us.
Thanks! It was our pleasure. Luckily my brother was in Da Nang during our trip so he watched her
I’m from Singapore and I going to Danang for a short holiday next week!
Awesome! You'll love Da Nang!
May I check if DaNang is in a bad shape now after the Typhoon hit?
@@Ace-bm3ys nope it was pretty short and mild. A couple trees fell over but the city already fixed everything next day
Thanks for the info! 🙂👍
Your video made me curious so i googled and singapore has over 100 malls
Wow that’s insane! In such a small area too
there’s a mall at nearly every mrt station even in the housing estates
enjoy
Thanks!

The food vendors at Lau Pa Sat’s satay street and Clarke Quay are pretty aggressive. Is it because this law exclude food shops?
Where is that converted convent?
Hi 👋 David do you know the name of the mall or address?I’m planning my Singapore Vietnam trip in February/March
The first mall was ION Orchard. I think its considered one of the nicest malls on that street
Raffles founded Singapore in 1819
Hi can i ask if Danang ever get winter cold?
During the typhoon yesterday it hit 75F which is the coldest I’ve ever felt it here
@@TravelWithNala thats like 23 celcius. my niece is borrowing winter coats from me for her trip in mid november… i was scratching my head because i thought Vietnam is hot 🥵
David….raffles and Singapore the 50s? More like 1800 and something!
Yeah mixed it up. Singapore became a sovereign nation in the 60s. Raffles founded the port city of Singapore back in the 1800. A very rich and complicated history.
BuGis Street.
No one corrected me while I was there 😭😭😭
The actual namesake is an ethnic group from Indonesia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugis
My wife is Bugis, so like a total nerd, I always book a hotel near Bugis MRT... 🤦
@@DavidKearns4well Bugis is a fantastic area to stay nonetheless!
You guys moving to Singapore now? ^^
They here for trip

Yup! A quick trip for leisure and exploring. A few business meetings too but mostly for fun.
@@TravelWithNala Enjoy guys! :)
ask for more soup for your songfa
oh yeah that's the best part. We didn't even have to ask, the lady kept coming around with a pot topping off our soup
So Singapore is just a giant mall.
lol i've heard a lot of ppl joke that walking around Singapore is just mall hopping to avoid the heat
@@TravelWithNalaFrom a local, yes we go into malls to get away from the heat 😂
How are you in a tax bracket when Kim orders freely off the menu🤣
$10 breakfast and $50k watch are very different things 😂
the last scene, your home is in Vietnam?
Yeah our base right now is in Da Nang

It’s not the same, at least the pork bone soup, laksa, prawn noodles and char kway tiao are different in taste. 😅
Those spiral staircase are poop staircase. Literally stairways to shit. Back in the day before modern toilets, poop collectors go up those staircase to collect buckets full of poop and dispose it off.
Omfg if you gave me 100 guesses I would not have guessed this. This is so interesting
Shop houses
100k for 10yr. Not 200k
Friendly advice, stop pointing finger in Singapore maybe South East Asia. You might accidentally pointing at someone & It consider rude.
Pretty much rude anywhere to point at ppl. But is it rude to point at objects as well in Singapore?
@@TravelWithNala nah pointing at objects is fine 😊
It’s no big deal pointing as long paying attention to anyone close to u.
i think people understand you’re not pointing at them when you’ve got your phone out and talking to yourself 😂
Rich guys. Eats at fancy restaurants... i sure hope to god by the time they leave Singapore they would have at least tried some Hawker food.
I apologize for eating at a nice restaurant for one meal while on vacation I guess?
Don’t talk as if sourgrape. At least they tasted some very nice food though it’s expensive.
@@TravelWithNala Don’t have to apologise to these people. I treat myself to good food too once in a while, even though i’m not a “rich guy”.

Orchard, bugis, arab street and haji lane are certainly not a neighbourhood.
