I'm just blown away at the beautiful ambiance, quality of drinks, and quality of pastries in Seoul. The cafe culture there is amazing. I saw pizza, but these cafe's seem to serve snacks rather than lunch. Am I right?
I’m so glad that the algorithm put your channel in my feed. I have been binge watching your videos. I love Kim so much. I love her disposition and she’s so pretty. You guys make the perfect couple. ❤❤
The gold glasses suit your warm skin tone better David. Your total cost for both glasses is the same cost as 1 eye exam alone in Canada. What a bargain.
9:12 "Marione Pizza...they're closed!" 😭😫 They closed on June 16 because they're moving to another location in Seongsu (less than 1 mile northwest). They said they're re-opening in August. And, it is the best neopolitan pizza in Korea.
Hi David - always nice to see a new video. Be nice to Kim and her mole, haha! I'm astounded at how much cheaper and more streamlined the process of getting an eye exam and new glasses seems to be in Korea vs the U.S. And without needing insurance no less. Do you and Kim generally get your health care in Korea?
Hahahaha. Oh yeah it was super easy and cheap too. So far we went to the general doctor with a flu, dentist, and optometrist in Korea all without insurance. All same day or next day appointments and reasonably priced.
Hi David and Kim-great vlog. There’s a Gentle Monster tax duty free boutique at Lotte World mall which you don’t have to pick up your purchase from the airport as long as you have an international passport. Please can you give me the address to Hai Phong Garden restaurant? Also for the glasses store. Thanks!
Thanks! I think every gentle monster does tax free if you have your passport with you. We got an instant refund on our glasses m. Hai Phong and 안경마트 (glasses mart) are both right off the Sookmyung university station on the main street
Did either one of you get your glasses with a high prescription? I wonder if the price, time and frame options would apply to people that have really bad eye sight... If so, then it is really a great service and worth every penny :)
I think it would be more expensive for higher proscriptions but not sure. I’m about a -2. I don’t think time would take much longer probably still same day
Great vid as always. Sorry I'm a bit confused - are you living in Korea or Vietnam at this point? I thought you couldn't reside in Korea anymore due to military service issues.
@@coltranecave5503 haha yeah it’s confusing because we went to Vietnam for like 2 days but that was just to apartment hunt. We’ll miss Korea but we’re really looking forward to Vietnam
@@TravelWithNala Thanks. Def not your fault - I haven't watched enough of your vids yet to get the whole picture of where you two are and what's up ahead, hence my confusion. I will rectify that!
@@yolandayee9808 do you don’t need a number for kakao T you can login with a foreign KakaoTalk account. Also getting an eSIM will get you a tourist phone number which still prevents you from most services that require a Korean phone number
Gold!

You should! It’s pretty awesome
gold for sure on the glasses. the silver is a little loud. the new glasses look great!

Oh noooo. I’ve found businesses in Seoul are slow to update their listings on NAVER
@TravelWithNala If you check it now, it's not there ☺️
enjoying the last bit of your Korea vlogs 😢
Kim - where’s your black bag from? 😊
We’ll definitely come back to visit soon! Kim’s bag is from COS it’s her favorite bag
28:24 they need some of the elite yelpers from socal haha. it’s frustrating to go somewhere and they’re closed
It’s soooo common in Korea. People take random vacation or close early on slow days or rainy days. Things like that
Love the new glasses!!
Thanks! I’m feeling them too it took a couple days to grow on me but I still get surprised when I look at in the mirror like who is that?
Pink ! ❤
Black pink!

What camera do you use?
Osmo pocket 3 and iPhone
What app do you use to book taxis in Seoul?
Kakao T. It’s better and cheaper than Uber in Korea
@@TravelWithNalais it foreigner friendly? didnt have the best experience in seoul with taxis especially with luggages 😂
