After all, unlike the Super Emeralds (which were a one time thing), the Time Stones come around once every month canonically, so if he collected both of them and absorbed their energy, he could become Debug Sonic or smth along the lines of that!

I have no idea why the time post in Zone 3 sent you to the previous level's good future, despite traveling from the bad future.
