  • 5 Part video teaching you how to create a healthier Sacroiliac Joint using movement, touch and Imagery. Taught by Eric Franklin, the founder of the Franklin Method.
    From Wikapedia: The sacroiliac joint or SI joint (SIJ) is the joint in the bony pelvis between the sacrum and the ilium of the pelvis, which are joined by strong ligaments. In humans, the sacrum supports the spine and is supported in turn by an ilium on each side. The joint is a strong, weight bearing synovial plane joint with irregular elevations and depressions that produce interlocking of the two bones. The human body has two sacroiliac joints, one on the left and one on the right, that often match each other but are highly variable from person to person.

    6 months of sciatica from a torn piriformis... cause all sorts of havoc and imbalances. Everything got even, but my facia needed to be released. Thank you!!!

    I have Sacroiliitis and Fibromyalgia caused by Crohn's Disease, and this video as well as your hip opening video have helped my daily pain levels a lot. I have much more strength and flexibility now. I know I'll never be 100% better, but my day-to-day has improved more than I ever thought possible without surgery. Thank you so much! Do you have any more stretches for people with especially limited mobility in their hips and back?

    I wish I had known about fascia 10 years ago I have been fighting lower back issues for 10 years with NO success, regardless of what exercise regime I followed or what specialist I saw. Because no one or no exercise system ever addressed the issue of fascia, specifically the thoracolumbar fascia. Since I have started following the videos in this series I have experienced more relief and progress than anything and everything I was doing previously. Ignorance is not bliss!!!!!.

      @William Denton, Hey after 9 months has anything gotten better? I have been dealing with pain for a little over a year and nothing has really worked, I've been to my family doctor who said nothing was wrong, and have been going to Physio for 1 year. How much has this video series helped? My pain is lower back and is especially noticeable when I twist or elongate the ligaments of my low back. I also have pain in extension when my core is not activated.

      @@minecraftmen04 Yes the FM turned my back situation around 360 degrees. Here is what I did. I contacted a FM practictioner in my area. After an initial evaluation, I went on a regime of FM exercise using his lower back release stretch, a fascia massage device, and most importantly learning how to use a Pro roller. I went from having trouble bending over to tie my shoelaces to swimming the butterfly which involves all kinds of lower back gyrations. I still use his excercises and the pro roller every day regardless and it has changed my life. What I recommend for you is to find an FM practictioner in your area and schedule an evaluation. The evaluations and 2 follow ups I did cost me $300, the Pro roller $50 and the videos on TH-cam were free. The fascia massager was $14. Go to his web site and look for a practictioner in your area. If there isn't one, consider a Pilates instructor as they will be familiar with FM as they are very similar. All the stuff about degenerative disc issue, osteoarthritis etc that I got from the medical establishment go swept away by the FM. There are videos on the Pro Roller on youtube. Good luck.

    Thanks for the video! How come your pelvis model can move? Did you just loosen the screw? I really like to use those to help me learn.

    No way I can do these exercises. A shame you don't come up with easier ones that are doable for everyone including people with weak abdominal muscles due to years of back problems, hypermobility issues etc. etc.

    The human body sucks. Such a crap design.

    • @williamdenton6317
      @williamdenton6317 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually it is not such a bad design if we humans were still running around on all fours like our ancestors. The big mistake they made is deciding to go upright with a back structure not designed for the vertical.

      Not at all. It's just that postmodern/digimodern man is not anywhere near as active as he should be. We've lived on Earth for 45,000 years. For most of those millenniums we were active in all kinds of ways every day. Then the late-20th century rolled around, and everybody became lazy.

      Everything works together so we can move all sorts of ways but when one thing is off then it will imbalance everything. Who has a better design?
