claude charles you can see it in like the benchmark apps like geekbench and antutu and only the US and china i believe have the snapdragon version, rest is exynos
claude charles you can get an app from the Playstore that has all that information, just type in (CPU).

@Flossy Carter .. I dropped my Note 8 (only had it for 2 days .. ordered case and screen protector, but unfortunately due to Hurricane Irma, mail was held up for 3 days in my town ) I dropped it during 47 hour power outage, and it cracked .. waist height on hard surface..
To all Note 8 owners, get a case and screen protector.. it was an expensive lesson.. (I'm good now, new Note 8 , OtterBox defender and tempered glass screen protector)

Had the Note 5. Great phone. Got the Note 8. Fantastic phone! Got $480 Credit for my Note 5 and the 128GB SD Card and Samsung Wireless Charger. I figure Note 8 cost me about $300!!!!! Can't Beat that with a stick!

Ddd Bbb yeah is smooth and very fast .....battery life is good not a problem and will depend on you how much heavy use you give to the phone, you will love the phone.
Watching this a year later after having the note 8 for a year, still no lag, still a beast of a phone. Also have the note 9 both are still great phones. Other then the og note features, no lag still great phone, fingerprint scanner still no issues with placement.

As to performance unfortunately Samsung does lag Apple. But my iPhone 7+ is a worse performer than my 6 was.
Tim Cook has ruined Apple its OS is not what it used to be. Usability and that intuitive seamless human interface is going the way of MS DOS.

Hi Flossy! This is Fred. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and upon careful inspection at home one night, I think I have what people online are saying as "light bleeding." There's this light coming through where the glass meets metal, on the entire length of the left side. I originally thought it was normal, but the right side of the phone only had this light emanating from the upper-right corner. It is very distracting, especially since I know it is there. Have you noticed this issue with your device?
For a phone this costly, I feel like this is unnacceptable. Or is this just normal and does not compromise the water-resistance of the phone? Should I return this? I hope I can hear your thoughts on this.
