This looks insane Ryan, awesome use of Midjourney
Hi
take love form your subscribe
Midjorney is the name right?
i love how your first video about this was how midjourney was good for concept art but not much else and now you've gone this far with it.. great to see :)
Dang. Some of the most photo realistic work I've seen from you guys! Amazing how lighting is such a big part of this in every art form.
I’d pay for a vfx course from y’all 🥺! This was amazing! Loved this
This is just OUTSTANDING! Great tips and tricks! Loved it! Hoping to see many more like this.
You could use the Zdepth generator in something like runway ml and use that to drive a displacement map to subtly cheat a camera move
Thanks a million for this idea
A beloved method by Ian Hubert, the Blender-artist!
Great technique yep, I think the newest version of Photoshop has an ai depth map generator in its new neural filters
You should make a tutorial about that
@@SpirusFilms you think or it's sure
I have 50 stories stacked up to blend VFX and Midjourney prompts. Its an amazing concepting tool for the rest of us storytellers that aren't concept artist.
Been having so much fun with this software! It is fun and tricky using different word prompts to get what you're envisioning. Really have been wanting to experiment with 3d effects, but something I need to learn now. Awesome video. Thank you
I am speechless! Super great turbo job!!! Thank your for sharing all these tips and techniques ❤️
Always teaching me new stuff these guys! Thanks for the awesome tutorial!
Great use for ai art! I've wondered if it will help with the creation of matte paintings in the future. Also, glad to see you guys are almost at 2 million subs
I've used midjourney for texturing as well as prop making so basically like posters, warning labels, and menus at restaurants you should attempt this as either some practical effect with printing them out as actual props or using them in a 3D situation for like blender which is what I did, also not to shout myself out but I did make a video on doing this stuff
I've just watched that video, pretty stick! Keep it up
That's freaking amazing. You guys always nail it.
Fantastic use of MidJ for plates..so cool! Thank you!
Incredible. Amazing work as always!
Few days ago I started using midjourney for the poster of my short films. It's so impressive!
AMAZING! My brother just put me own yesterday. Y’all killed it. Now I wanna check it out!!!
I can't wait to see myself practiceing all these amazing video editing skills. U guys keep inspiring us how to become a good video editor 👍
Here's 5 seconds of Midjourney tutorial followed by an in depth badass VFX tutorial. Nice!
Amazing tutorial as always!!! You guys are making me feel like a broke version of ILM with these great tips and tricks. Thank you!!!
Thanks guys.. Always blessing us with some dope ideas/techniques!.. I'm a try something out.. :)
Outstanding work and tutorial thank you for sharing. Always entertaining and knowledge based materials you all put out into the world.
Impeccable work!! 👏🏾 I love this tutorial, I I'm sure the same process could be done through DaVinci Resolve.
I think that adding some reverb & echo to his voice would help also!
I truly LOVE this channel. Seriously
New tuts for Element 3D in 2023. LOVE IT! :D Great work!
This channel is indeed informative and very generous, special thanks.
Wow, this is exactly what I wanted to see!
Ryan, you're always one step ahead! You sure know how to change the game with every new video. Is it possible to use Midjourney to create a 3D environment in Unreal Engine or Blender?
Amazing. Ill use this trick for my future projects. 👍.
im just starting and tNice tutorials video was perfect.Well explained and easy to follow for a beginner.I never understood soft soft till i watched tNice tutorials.
Could be cool to use MidJourney through a projector in the background of a scene. Obviously wouldn’t work for a lot of scenarios, but if you needed a stain glass window, you could put that into MidJourney, blast it through a projector onto a wall behind a character and throw it out of focus. Could be cool
Instead of projector think of those "screens all over the place" thing they used in Mandalorian
@@Beyondarmonia I would definitely agree, it’s just that no one on a low budget has access to LED walls. Projectors are more affordable and flexible for no-budget filmmaking
Why not just look up a picture of a stained glass window lol
@@ploopy8780 Because the stained glass window was just an example, you dim***
There's of course going to be things that we don't readily have pictures of.
@@ploopy8780 right you are! I didn’t think about that until after I posted the comment lol.
I guess if you wanted a very specific mood or something you could still use MidJourney.
Somebody told me that I pay a lot of attention to details…, I’m laughing! You even changed the the little light reflections far away to make them look as if they were from an anamorphic lens 😭. This is insane, man. It kind of looks like an idea I had for a short🔥… Thanks Ryan. I love everything you guys produce 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yeah, this is pro, no doubt.
@@daniel_caron mannnnnnn, 💯 % love this channel!
This is so helpful! This will help a current project I’m on. Keep up your Awesomeness!;)~
Amazing. Just amazing! Mind blowing how awesome you guys are!!!!!
This is masterpiece totally, love it 😍
This is pretty rad. Thanks for the tips.
Wow... this is top notch content.
Loved it!
This is exactly how I'm currently using my MJ creations. I don't MJ necessarily to create out of the box "art". I use it to enhance develop backgrounds for images I already created in camera. You have to take a good amount of time to develop prompts and also edit the final creations to suit your project. It's certainly not just a click. The great thing is that you have a set builder right at your fingertips, and dirt cheap too! BTW you should give Davinci Resolve😉
Very nice, first time saw midjourney used for filmmaking! And its great tool to use .
I feel like this would have been a great episode to utilize RunwayML. I'd love to see just how many steps you can circumvent by using as many AI tools as possible. It even has a text to image AI built in.
Dude, this is amazing!
3:52 I prefere to make ths shadow layer 3D and rotate it (about) 90 degrees so it lies down on the floor. Shadows are projected on the floor.
The way you did it was as if it was rotated about 180 degrees, what is more like how a ray traced reflection would work.
This is one of the best non element 3d tutorials out there. It was awesome!
What do you mean? This is an Element 3D tutorial. Are you a bot?
@@jobz9150 you are missing my point. The title makes no metion of using E3D yet it is a great tut on using E3D!
@@cambulator3769 Ah ok. I thought you were a bot. Sorry. Lol
I'm blown away! I'm going to check it out
Some one really needed to sweep up that church... So good on telekinetic guy.
Amazing video as always man!
Thanks for the dope tutorial I’m going to do something like this out on Blender. Fun stuff!
Jaw-dropping amazing effects
Wow amazing Thanks Ryan!
Cool one! I would suggest to add two passes of element3d, one in front of the subject and one behind, just to ground them more in the cgi
Film vfx is getting easier day by day
Absolutely brilliant!
Nice but generally, the shadows edited in should match the angle and opacity of the other shadows in the scene
Amazing Tutorial, Thanks!
Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing. I love your tutorial. Job.
Great tutorials. Perhaps not too challenging for you but I would just love to see tutorial for the text intro of this tutorial, all that glitching, unfocusing and stuff makes the intro part also great.
As someone new to film making…this scares me…but in a good way. Great video!
Love the tutorial! Great
Hey Film Riot I'm a big fan of yours and I really liked the episode! I'd be very happy if you make an episode that explains how to copy the effect in the movie "Top Gun: Maverick" when Tom Cruise is shot with a helicopter (CG) after he crashes, in any case I really appreciate the work you're doing :)
very informative tutorial!
this video just thought me a whole stuff i never knew about after effect
thanks for sharing
Great video. Thanks for the information
i think you should add little motion blur too on rocks .... but this scene is also looks so cool
Neat. Great idea, thank you.
Wow! Great tutorial!!!
Really cool work!
this is insane, you are a genius,
one unsolicited suggestion is for your prompts, put more camera/lens type stuff in there. especially if you know the terminology, obscure specific terminology really helps
I always enjoy your tutorials. Well taught and concise. A quick question: do you use makeup when filming these? I ask because the skin tones are so creamy and perfect. Or is it just because of the camera setup/color editing in post?
Ooh God you guys are too cool thanks for this tutorial. ✌️
came for the ai thang and stayed for the edit ♥ as usual
Mind blowing!
🥺 soooooo good....
Didn't understand anything because you were way too fast but I enjoyed it.
I want to be vfx editor like you.
Amazing Work 🔥
Keep it up
Thanks For this Tutorial
This effects I want to creat on my video...
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I absolutely love this
ayyy thank you dude. awweeeesome vudeo
Great tutorial thanks
Oh man, I'm so hooked on MJ. I cannot step away from the prompt.
Same here buddy. I'm kinda addicted to it. I even subscribed to their basic plan. Lol
it's also a little inefficient in a way if you want to just draw a 4 on the softoor kick soft and theres all those empty sequencers on the
God, your expertise is amazing. I think I'm going to stick with what I do best.
A million dollar work, done for fun, marvel would be jealous
Thanks a lot. TNice tutorials video got started.
Thank you for existing pal
simple and amzaing teaching method.
Wowww this is insane
wow 👏 that was impressive
Trying to make a soft you hear in your head co to life might be the hardest part starting out but I guess that requires so solid
This tutorial rocks! 🤓
This is rad!
damn that was amazing
its just a background matt painting or picture from mid journey , which you can get from free pic or other sites , rest was done in after effects with 3d element , which is more harder part.
Midjourney to Unreal Engine through AI will be mad crazy!
amazingggg
Thank you always! What should I do to change the costumes and hairstyles of the characters in the video?
It is amazing!Your tutorial has been copied by many learners on Chinese video platforms, such as Bilibili. Your tutorial has influenced and helped many people, thanks a lot
Fascinating. In real time, how long did this take (the after effects part)?
Amazing 🔥
I had an idea to use midjourney or stable diffusion to generate a background and then use Blender and Fspy to add that image to some geometry so that you could use a virtual camera to add camera movement in the scene. So you basically have a virtual set from an ai generated image. I'm not sure how well this would work or even if it would work, I'm still very new to vfx.
I wrote a script for a Star Wars fan film and I'm trying to learn vfx while I work on this fan film. So I figure out what vfx shots are needed and then I learn how to make those shots using blender. And I'm also trying to find cool ways to implement ai into the process.
Круто ,впрочем как и всегда,спасибо и больше таких уроков!!!)
