I see SO many RV's for sale where the photos are of poor quality. Poor lighting, poor composition, dark exposures where you can't see any detail, and also very blurry photos. Also, CLEAN IT UP! RV photos that show clutter, or dirt, or beds that haven't been made and/or bed spreads missing, or dirty dishes in the sink, mops and buckets in the dining/living area, stained toilets and old shower curtains, or calcium covered shower doors. What that tells me is that the owner hasn't taken care of his/her coach/trailer and if that's the neglect you can see, what is the neglect you can't see? I pass right by those types of RV's. No thanks. Also, take photos of the interior ceiling and cabinet interiors to show potential buyers that there are no stain spots which could indicate water damage. Take photos of the tires and get underneath the rig to take photos of the chassis. Definitely show photos of the roof. List all the extras (if any) that will come with the RV. Show a clean RV that reflects your pride in ownership, publish good quality, well lit photographs and lots of them and your chances of selling your RV go way up.
Very true. I see RV's for sale and they actually post pictures with trash cans overflowing with garbage. Another thing I hate to see is hideous throw rugs all over the floor.
Hi Matt, do you have any suggestions for selling while you're fulltime RVing in it. In my case, I also have three large dogs. Can I sell it and still be living in it? I usually see them empty in photos. Thank you very much. I think there are lots of us in this situation.
I am selling my 2020 Winnebago View 24V because I am looking to upgrade to a Park Model. My Rig has under 23k miles. It is a Mercedes Diesel chassis. On my trip south to Show Low AZ I was getting 17.8 mpg pulling a 2023 2D Jeep Wrangler. I added 680-watt Zamp Solar, 5 Lion lithium batteries, EQSmart 4 pt auto levelers, & a sewage macerator. I also upgraded my Instant hot water system to a Truma Plus. I am asking 120k but will take in offers. I cannot consign it because I live in it. How much do you think I could realistically ask/get for it? I purchased it NEW and paid cash. The title is clean.

Could be like in Virginia. If I switch the title to my name - I have to pay Sales Tax = on a $40K RV - about $1,700 in Sales Tax. If someone buys, put their name on the title, and then sells it to you - they have avoided paying that $,$$$. Virginia also has a law limiting how many I can sell without a license as a Dealer - which requires training, insurance, business fees, business location (open to public, not a household) and other requirements.

Take pictures of the persons id
Meet at the buyers bank. They can verify that the check or payment is good.
